Your challenge

As a DevOps Engineer, you’re responsible for automating the deployment of our software solutions. You interact with software engineers, functional product managers, and ICT professionals daily. Using your technical skills, you provide internal tooling for development and QA teams around the globe.

As our new DevOps Engineer, you’ll be part of a large, fast-growing, international team located in Belgium (Antwerp, Ghent, Wavre), Spain (Barcelona), Ukraine (Lviv), and the US (Atlanta). Your profile

We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field related to Computer Science.
• Pride in developing high-quality solutions and taking responsibility for their maintenance.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of the following technologies: Kubernetes, PowerShell or bash scripting, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines or similar automation systems, Git.
• Familiarity with the Cloud–Native Landscape. Terraform, Ansible, and Helm are tools we use daily.
• Supportive towards users.

Bonus points if you have:

• A background in DevOps, ICT, or technical support.
• Customer support experience or other relevant work experience, including internships.
• Understanding of Windows networks and Active Directory.
• Experience with transferring applications into the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a Technical Lead role for DevOPs development and support teams.
• Need to communicate & coordinate with both offshore and onsite teams
• Should translate business requirements into project plans and workable item/activities
• Have a thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and the ability to implement software following the structured approach.
• Need to perform in-depth technical reviews of project deliverables and ensure it should be defect free (minimize post release defects).
• Understand the current applications and technical architecture and improvise them as needed.
• Stay abreast of new technologies, methods to optimize development process and latest SDKs, testing tools etc

Required Skills:

In depth experience configuring and administering EKS clusters in AWS.

In depth experience in configuring **Splunk SaaS** in AWS environments especially in **EKS**

In depth understanding of OpenTelemetry and configuration of **OpenTelemetry Collectors**

In depth knowledge of observability concepts and strong troubleshooting experience.

Experience in implementing comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions in AWS using **CloudWatch**.

Experience in **Terraform** and Infrastructure as code.

Experience in **Helm**Strong scripting skills in Shell and/or python.

Experience with large-scale distributed systems and architecture knowledge (Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems, networking, storage) in a cloud computing or traditional IT infrastructure environment.

Must have a good understanding of cloud concepts (Storage /compute/network).

Experience collaborating with several cross functional teams to architect observability pipelines for various GCP services like GKE, cloud run Big Query etc.

Proficient in developing and maintaining technical documentation, ADRs, and runbooks.

You will be part of our DevOps Team working closely with our DBA team in automating, monitoring, and scaling our massive MySQL cluster. Previous MySQL experience is a plus. 

Your day-to-day at Egnyte

• Designing, building, and maintaining cloud environments (using Terraform, Puppet or Kubernetes)
• Migrating services to cloud-based environments
• Collaborating with software developers and DBAs to create a reliable and scalable infrastructure for our product. 

• 2+ years of proven experience in a DevOps Engineer, System Administrator or Developer role, working on infrastructure or build processes
• Programming prowess (Python, Java, Ruby, Golang, or JavaScript)
• Experience with databases (MySQL or Postgress or RDS/Aurora or others)

DevOps Systems Engineer with experience in Docker Containers, Docker Swarm, Docker Compose, Ansible, Jenkins and other tools. As part of this role she/he must work with the container best practices in design, development and implementation.

At Least 4 Years of experience in DevOps with knowledge of:

Job Description

Position: DevOps Engineer

Job Description

The candidate should have the following Skills:

- Hands-on experience with DevOps & CICD open source tools (Jenkins, ), including AWS DevOps services (CodePipeline, CloudFormation, etc).

- Experience in building and deploying using Java/Python/Node.js on Cloud infrastructure (Docker or Kubernetes containers or Lambda.)

- Exposure to Cloud operations, releases, and configuration management

- Experience in implementing Non-functional requirements for microservices, including performance, security, compliance, HA and Disaster Recovery.

- Good soft skills, great attitude, and passion for working in a product startup environment

Total Experience of 2-5 years post BE or BTech or MCA in Computer Science Engineering.
