We are looking for a core team member for our early stage startup. The responsibility will be to develop the complete app with 1 other android developer.The back-end will be handled separately by 1 other member The app is complex in nature as it has custom features.We plan to make custom camera with live filters,custom video and audio recorder and custom text editor.The app will also consists of user profile , feed , notification etc.Thus an extremely good skill level,ability to learn quickly and dedication for work are extremely important qualities. The person can keep their old job if he/she can contribute 25 hrs in a week for this project.He/She will get equity as a remuneration.He/She will join permanently once we develop the product and raise the funds. Its a model that is applicable to every team member. We are looking for someone who is talented,hardworking and has the understanding about the hard-work required for building a startup

PROBLEM SOLVING: Main: People aren’t able to look back, in detail,at different personally cherishable moments in life;moments that contain the essence and emotions of the different experiences in life. This is linked to 2 sub-problems : 1)People don’t have many memories recorded in digital format because they never got a push to capture majority of such happenings 2)A Lot of efforts are required to look for the very few moments captured, in photos and videos because they are scattered randomly and buried deep down in laptop folders or drives. People, who want to look at various moments experienced in life,aren’t able to do so. WHY IS THIS GOOD TIME TO START SLAM8? People are feeling discontented and frustated with social media especially facebook as they waste a lot of time & are just about other people.Encouraging people to save their own life’s simple memories,thoughts & emotions in details can be a more engaging option.We need to focus on the moments that one will want to look back to.This way the output will make people happy.Also the shared content will be far more relatable and useful to people. This combination between social and personal will be a much better companion to people Such product is absent in the market We are looking for an experienced (atleast 2 years) back-end developer who has worked on following: 1)Node.Js 2)MongoDB , graphDB(Neo4j) 3)AWS 4)Java-spring ,apache struts2 5)Micro services architecture 6)caching using reddis or memcached 7)RESTful services He/she should have sufficient knowledge on 1)Micro services 2)API gateway 3)Database maintanance Note: we are looking for co-founders who can join and work along with the existing team of 7 members based on equity.None of us is expecting any salary atleast till next six month(app development period).You can keep your old job while working for this 6 months if you can contribute 36 hours a week on average

Every developer wants to work on a product that will be used by millions and is close to heart of people;a product that really connects with users. Slam8 as a personal life-recorder app has the capacity to be that product. Now, the whole concept of providing a solution for people to capture the moments and thoughts in their lives along with feelings ,in a lot detail with different media formats, for mainly themselves,is pretty new. It has the potential to go big as everyone values their memories and we can make it super-easy and fun for them to capture them. Imagine how much more entertainning and enganging it can be as compared to the social media platforms that are time wasting and frustating.People need a personal-first platform like ours which will also give adequate social touch. So the work we do is challenging in terms of creativity and tech yet totally worth it due to the possibilities associated with the product.If you are up for big things in life and working original ideas which will definitely require patience,you should work with our team. We are looking for : 1)android developers who has hands on experience in API related tech like XML,REST, JSON along with proficiency in Java and entire software development cycle. 2)Back-end developers with experience in Java, Node.JS , MongoDB , micro services , API gatways ,RESTful services,AWS. We are looking for co-founders and not employees. Thus we cant have any salary for 6 months and equity provided will be work based
