About the Role

As a Community Intern at Newton School of Technology, you’ll be at the center of our applicants ecosystem — building engagement, nurturing conversations, and strengthening our brand presence across online channels. This role blends communication, creativity, and operational coordination, giving you hands-on experience in community building, student engagement, and online reputation management within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage actively with students across Telegram and other community platforms.
• Drive and moderate discussions — share updates, resources, and celebrate community milestones.
• Plan and execute virtual events, Q&A sessions, contests, and peer-learning initiatives.
• Collect and analyze student feedback to measure community health and engagement.
• Collaborate with academic, tech, and marketing teams to ensure consistent communication.
• Create and manage content calendars, including newsletters, polls, and community spotlights.
• Support onboarding and orientation for new students joining the community.
• Manage brand presence across public platforms — respond to Q&A and reviews on Quora, YouTube comments, Google reviews, Reddit, and other forums.
• Identify trends, recurring feedback, and opportunities to improve comms tone and responsiveness.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, HR, or Technology. With Experience in Content Writing/Copywriting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Organized, self-driven, and creative with strong problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about education, student engagement, and online communities.
• Comfortable using tools like Notion, Canva, Slack, Google Workspace, and social platforms.
• Prior experience in student councils, clubs, or community management is preferred.'

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join our team and play a key role in engaging with customers over the phone. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reaching out to potential and existing customers, generating leads, promoting products or services, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Interaction:

• Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers to explain products or services.
• Respond to incoming inquiries and resolve customer queries effectively and efficiently.

2. Lead Generation:

• Identify and qualify leads through active communication and engagement.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of customer information for follow-up and future interactions.

3. Sales Support:

• Promote company offerings to increase product or service adoption.
• Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly call and sales targets.

4. Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers through regular communication.
• Address customer concerns promptly and escalate issues to the relevant department when necessary.

• Developing a deep understanding of our vast data sources on the web and knowing exactly how, when, and which data to scrap, parse and store

• Working independently with little supervision to research and test innovative solutions skills

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Computer science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology
• 1 - 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong coding experience in Python (knowledge of Java, JavaScript is a plus)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with multi-processing, multi-threading, and AWS/Azure
• Strong knowledge of scraping frameworks such as Python (Request, Beautiful Soup), Web Harvest and others
• In depth knowledge of algorithms and data structures & previous experience with web crawling is a must
