What you’ll do

You will not manage a backlog.

You will own the product as a system that drives business outcomes.

1. Build the workflow execution platform (v2)

• Ship a platform that supports 3+ concurrent Tier-1 deployments without custom forks
• Eliminate one-off implementations — move toward configurable, reusable systems
• Ensure the product works across real enterprise environments, not ideal ones

2. Own outcome tracking and monetization layer

• Design instrumentation to track:
• Business outcomes (conversion, recovery, resolution)
• Not just interactions or usage
• Enable hybrid pricing models (Stage 2) across multiple accounts
• Ensure every deployment can prove ROI clearly

3. Convert customer reality into product roadmap

• Work directly with insurers like:
• SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Life, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance
• Translate:
• Feedback
• Failure modes
• Operational friction
• into clear product priorities
• Build features that make the platform 2x harder to rip out at renewal

4. Create new AI-native product segments

• Identify workflows that were not possible before AI
• Build entirely new categories of automation and execution
• Go beyond efficiency — enable new revenue or capability layers

5. Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency

• Reduce dependency on:
• Support teams
• Manual intervention
• Move toward self-serve, reliable execution
• Target: support dependency → near zero

6. Improve activation and time-to-value

• Reduce deployment/activation time to 7–21 days
• Work closely with deployment teams to remove friction
• Ensure customers see value within weeks, not months

7. Own customer experience of the product

• Ensure live customers:
• Are satisfied
• See consistent performance
• Track and improve:
• Reliability
• Latency
• Outcome success rates

• Platform supports multiple Tier-1 deployments without breaking

• Work very closely with the Head of Engineering and the CEO directly
• Own major parts of our tech stack (Node.js/React.js) and your job will be focused primarily on backend (Node/SQL/MQs etc.), but with some front-end JS work (React) as needed

A Bit About You.

• Really strong in Javascript especially in Node.js with at least 5 years of experience - if you are genuinely not super strong, please do not apply as you will find our interviews challenging and it might be a waste of your time
• Also has React.js experience so that you can support the front-end work as needed

Job Title: Automation Test Lead

Location: Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu

Work Mode: Work from Office (WFO) – 5 Days a Week

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Lead to spearhead our QA efforts in both automation and manual testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Selenium with Java, the ability to lead a team of 10+ testers, and hands-on experience in building automation frameworks from scratch. Exposure to Cypress and a working knowledge of AI in testing would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of QA engineers across manual and automation testing streams
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch
• Define test strategies, plans, and processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts
• Ensure timely execution and reporting of all QA activities
• Guide and mentor team members on test automation best practices
• Identify, record, and track bugs using appropriate tools
• Contribute to continuous improvement in test processes and quality standards
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools, trends, and techniques, including AI-driven QA

Required Skills & Experience:

Responsibilities

• A technology Professional who understands software development and can solve IT Operational and deployment challenges using software engineering tools and processes. This position requires an understanding of both Software development (Dev) and deployment

Operations (Ops)

• Identity manual processes and automate them using various DevOps automation tools
