Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled software developer with strong experience in EdTech platforms and education ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in core PHP/Laravel and database technologies, with hands-on experience in building and scaling education-focused modules such as LMS, online examination systems, admissions, and fee management.

This role focuses on developing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for schools, colleges, and online learning platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Education ERP and EdTech platform modules.
• Build and enhance systems for LMS (Learning Management System), online exams, admissions, fee management, HR, and finance.
• Develop and optimize REST APIs/GraphQL services for seamless integration with web and mobile platforms.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security for large-scale student and institutional data.
• Work closely with product, QA, and implementation teams to deliver EdTech features.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Continuously improve platform capabilities based on EdTech trends and user needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Core PHP (Laravel Framework).
• Solid experience with MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL (database design & optimization).
• Understanding of EdTech workflows like student lifecycle, course management, and assessments.
• Frontend basics: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS (React/Vue is a plus).
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations (payment gateways, SMS, and email services).
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
• Minimum 3+ years of development experience, with at least 2 years in education ERP/EdTech systems.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in EdTech companies or education ERP platforms.
• Deep understanding of LMS, online examination systems, admissions, fees, HR, and finance modules.
• Experience handling high-traffic educational platforms (e.g., exam portals, live classes, student dashboards).
• Exposure to scalable architecture for large student/user bases.

Role Overview

The Lead Product Manager is responsible for owning product strategy, execution, and product maturity across one or more SaaS product areas. This role drives product vision, multi-quarter roadmaps, and revenue outcomes, while also playing a key role in building and scaling product practices, people, and culture.

The Lead PM works closely with Engineering, Design, Data/AI, Sales, Marketing, and Service Delivery leaders to ensure products are customer-centric, scalable, and aligned with long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

• Define and drive product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Identify and prioritise initiatives that drive revenue growth, adoption, retention, and expansion.
• Translate strategy into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Own and continuously groom the product backlog to ensure clarity and prioritisation.
• Act as Product Owner within Agile/Scrum teams, leading sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track and analyse product performance metrics to guide roadmap decisions.

Organization-Building Responsibilities

• Define and refine product development processes including discovery, prioritisation, backlog management, release planning, and feedback loops.
• Help design the product career ladder, mentoring frameworks, and capability development practices.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and coaching Product Managers, Designers, and Product Analysts.
• Educate Sales, Services, and Delivery teams on product ways-of-working, including “no custom fork” principles.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Work closely with Service Delivery leaders to convert repeatable client solutions into scalable product roadmap items, rather than bespoke projects.
• Partner with Marketing to develop strong product narratives and positioning for different verticals.
• Collaborate with UX, QA, and Engineering to ensure usability, quality, and scalability.
• Support major launches and go-to-market initiatives.

AI-Led Product Expectations

The Lead Product Manager will:

• Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases such as prediction, recommendations, and automation.
• Partner with data scientists and ML engineers to translate models and data into reliable, user-facing features.
• Define data requirements, feedback loops, and evaluation criteria for AI capabilities.
• Track AI-specific metrics alongside traditional KPIs, including model quality, automation rates, error rates, and business impact.

Business & Leadership Skills

• Strong understanding of revenue-driven product metrics.

Qualifications (Preferred)
