Content Writer

• Digital Marketing (preferably SEO – keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, local business listing optimization and web analytics reporting) required; B2B experience an advantage
• University graduate

Job Description

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant industry experience in React Native
• A deep understanding of JavaScript
• Familiarity with video recording, playback, and uploading libraries
• Experience with Native Android app deployment
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git)

What you would be expected to do:

• Gather, prioritize and refine requirements while keeping team members well informed
• Create Use Cases, Flow Charts, Mock Screens, PRDs for business requirements, user requirements, functional & non-functional requirements and system requirements
• Rolling out of new products/apps/automations and resolving stakeholder queries/issues
• Automate business processes using tools like Zapier/Google Scripts, other automation tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups and assist in the entire product lifecycle from design to development to launch
• Responsible for testing of applications/solutions/web panels at various stages of the lifecycle
• Working with the development team/or independently on integrations (using 3rd party tools to create mobile applications)
• Travel as per company requirement to places including but not limited to Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Myanmar and Tanzania

This position will play a primary role in planning, implementing, leading and executing all aspects of Quality and Testing. The role requires hands-on QA expertise, ability to take initiative and develop and evolve our QA processes. The right candidate will be able to analyze the systems to determine what to test, the priority of those tests and the best way to test.

• Perform impact/test analysis for the new features, feature-enhancements and bug fixes.
• Conduct test design and test execution for functional/non-functional aspects of features / product
• Hands-on execution for functional/non-functional aspects of features / product
• Automate the tests to ensure repeatability of tests

• 3 to 5 years’ experienced software quality professional.
• Experienced developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures to support various development methodologies.
• Familiarity with entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Performance and Volume, User Acceptance)
• Knowledge & experience on java or python, selenium, appium etc to perform the automation of websites and apps on desktop/handheld devices
• Knowledge & experience on tools like JMeter, gatling, locust to perform non-functional tests
• Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found
• Highly organized, detail oriented, extremely responsive candidate who would like to take up technical challenges
