
Job Description - Content Writer:
An Executive of Corporate Communication team is required to communicate with all the levels of the organization, understand requirements and work with different verticals of the company to deliver clear communication as per business requirements. An understanding in branding is crucial to the success of this role and to adhere to the brand guidelines of FAI.
Competencies
- Gather stakeholder feedback on corporate brand & organization awareness levels using various modes of media and personal interaction.
- Analyze the voice of stakeholders and feed into a concise communication plan to convey the same.
- Monitors own work to ensure delivery within the desired performance standards. Understands the importance of delivery within expected time and brand standards and displays concern in case of deviation.
- Is open to feedback, different perspectives and ideas, and constantly improving one’s craft based on the feedbacks and discussions.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with all India-based business verticals as well as offshore partners.
- Must also display excellent inter-personal skills required to interact with colleagues including different teams, SMTs, offshore partners etc. for understanding business requirements and communicating the same.
- Encourages teamwork and collaboration by promoting openness and dialogue, facilitates participation of self and other team members in organizational decisions and motivates other team members and drives pride and positivity in work. Exhibits professionalism in conduct of work and respects others’ views.
Technical Skills
- Should be familiar with the ethos of marketing & branding.
- Should have excellent creative writing skills.
- Should be well versed with both short form and long form copy.
- Should have a relatively good understanding of social media channels and be able to craft clear, precise copy for the same.
- Should be aware of or willing to learn about emerging trends in corporate communication.
- Would be required to gather information & be aware of data gathering sources, techniques etc.
- Should be able to understand and work with relevant SOPs.
- Should be able to identify key messages and develop communication plan/campaigns accordingly.
- Should be able to articulate presentations for strategy & draft communications as per the requirements.
Qualifications
Graduate from any discipline with a strong portfolio. Relevant experience of 5 - 10 years will be preferred.
