We are hiring for our founding team (in Delhi NCR only, no remote) that will take the product from prototype to a landing! Opportunity for disproportionate non-linear impact, learning and wealth creation in a classic 0-1 with a Silicon Valley caliber founding team.

Key Responsibilities:

1.   Data Strategy and Vision:

·       Develop and drive the company's data analytics strategy, aligning it with overall business goals.

·       Define the vision for data analytics, outlining clear objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure success.

2.   Data Analysis and Interpretation:

·       Oversee the analysis of complex datasets to extract valuable insights, trends, and patterns.

·       Utilize statistical methods and data visualization techniques to present findings in a clear and compelling manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

3.   Data Infrastructure and Tools:

·       Evaluate, select, and implement advanced analytics tools and platforms to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.

·       Collaborate with IT teams to ensure a robust and scalable data infrastructure, including data storage, retrieval, and security protocols.

4.   Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

·       Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as marketing, sales, and product development to identify opportunities for data-driven optimizations.

·       Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring effective communication of data insights and recommendations.

5.   Performance Measurement:

·       Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact of data analytics initiatives on business outcomes.

·       Continuously assess and improve the accuracy and relevance of analytical models and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in data analytics, with a focus on leading analytics teams and driving strategic initiatives.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, and advanced knowledge of data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modelling techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex findings to diverse audie 

We are looking for a capable System Administrator to take over all aspects of the configuration and maintenance of computer systems. A System Admin should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly and should have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.

Monitoring and reporting all points mentioned below.

Ensure Security updates are installed:

• Regularly checking whether the Antivirus software is updated for users.
• Regularly monitor platforms like Google to ensure everybody is using up-to-date applications with no security issues.
• Regularly Email users about the security updates that they need to install on their laptops and PCs.

Antivirus

Centrally managed antivirus should be installed on all laptops and mobile devices. 

• Adding a purchase request for any additional licence that we might require.
• Pushing new software updates on users’ laptops.
• Keeping up-to-date with antivirus updates so all our devices are secure.
• Miradore user agent 

Mobile device and access management

• Set rules and configure settings on personal and organisation-owned devices to access data and networks.
• Deploy and authenticate apps on devices -- on-premises and mobile.
• Protect company data by controlling the way users access and share information.
• Make sure devices and apps are compliant with security requirements.
• Only provide user access to laptops (No admin access, excluding developers)
• All new software installation requests will go through the system admin to make sure nothing is installed on work laptops that poses a security risk.

Vanta compliance-related tickets

• Vanta will continue to monitor and create issues to be compliant with ISO 27K over time. The system administrator must resolve all such system-related tickets.

Access management to different user applications

• Access should be restricted to only what is necessary to perform job duties ("principle of least privilege").
• Technical access to all the company’s networks must be formally documented, including the standard role for approver, grantor, and date.
• Only authorised employees and third parties working off a signed contract or statement of work, with a business need, shall be granted access to the company’s production networks.
• The company’s guests may be granted access to guest networks after registering with office staff without a documented request - guest network management.

Removal media encryption

• Research removable media encryption and figure out if removable media should be implemented and make sure it is always encrypted.

MFA reset and debugging

As we are enabling MFA for more and more applications that we have, more people are likely to have issues with it as the business moves forward. 

• Different online applications will have different ways of handling the MFA reset; a system admin should be familiar with all.

Website watcher configuration and email issues

• Software like Website Watcher keeps having email issues, as it sends emails in huge numbers every day. The system administrator must keep an eye on the emails and fix issues promptly as and when they arise.

Office network management

• System admin can help in creating guest networks in the office and making sure that the network is as secure as possible.

Phishing emails

• Finding the optimal solution to prevent phishing emails from getting delivered.
• Verifying emails sent by our staff to check for phishing emails.

Security incidents handling

• System admin must monitor incident and event tickets and assign severity tickets.
• Continuous checks to ensure the security incident policies are being followed and up to date
• A root cause analysis report must be documented and referenced in incident tickets.
• A central "War Room" will be designated for handling security threats. This may be a physical or virtual location  (i.e., Slack channel) and managed by the system admin.
• Conducting recurring Incident Response Meetings until the incident is resolved (as per the company's established norms)

Implement password policy

• Password policy must be in place to ensure that users are using secure passwords that are not easily crackable.

Must have 1+ Years of experience.

Location: Apart from the East Indian States it will be permanent work from home.

Have an experience building backend server side applications in Node.js and Express.js

Have in-depth knowledge and experience of using ES6+ features and Object Oriented Principles

Have sound knowledge and are familiar with databases like MongoDb - (Preferred) and Mysql.

Have good exposure to cloud native technologies (AWS Lambda, S3, RDS, etc) 

Have working knowledge of version control (Git) and continuous deployment 

Have experience in optimising backend API’s and database queries for optimal performance.

You are good at problem solving and have analytical skills 

You are flexible in adapting new technologies and frameworks as per the projects needs

We are looking for a Node.js Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

The Candidate should have knowledge and experience with specified technologies:

• Great at building server-side code in NodeJs & ExpressJs
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Experience in building and consuming REST API
• Authentication and authorisation using JWT tokens
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• DevOps knowledge especially in AWS EC2 and S3
• Knowledge of headless Chrome, Puppeteer will be huge plus
• Experience in HTML, CSS
• Understanding of React will be a bonus
