About Aivagam

Aivagam is an innovative EdTech platform focused on delivering high-impact learning solutions through technology-driven models. We are looking for a dynamic Sales Representative who can independently drive business development initiatives and build a structured sales funnel to accelerate growth.

Role Overview

The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating and managing the end-to-end sales funnel, driving B2B partnerships, and expanding Aivagam’s presence across institutions and enterprises. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, strategic thinking ability, and hands-on experience in B2B sales within the education or technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a structured sales funnel from lead generation to closure.
• Identify, prospect, and engage potential B2B clients (colleges, training institutes, enterprises, etc.).
• Drive business development initiatives to expand market reach and revenue growth.
• Conduct product presentations, demos, and consultative discussions with decision-makers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, product, and leadership) to align sales strategy with business goals.
• Track pipeline performance, prepare sales reports, and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
• Represent Aivagam at industry events, meetings, and networking forums.
• Travel as required to meet clients and close business opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of proven experience in B2B sales (preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or technology solutions).
• Strong understanding of sales funnel management and business development strategies.
• Excellent command over English (verbal and written communication).
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively as part of business development efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling to educational institutions or corporate training departments.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
• Exposure to consultative or solution-based selling approaches.

• You will be building and shipping robust apps to Android/ iOS devices using a single codebase.
• You will be writing readable and clear code using Dart that will be extensively documented for future use and upgrades.
• You will be sharing feedback and brainstorming ideas with teams to improve the development process.
• Understand basic concepts of design for developing user friendly applications.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies.

• Has experience of working in a graphics environment, to a brief and delivering to deadlines with some evidence of design management capability
• Familiarity with best practices for graphics and video content on social media platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
• Should optimize existing graphics and video content
• Use of Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and G Suite.
• Has advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (mainly InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, and Photoshop)

• A degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is a plus.

• Write a significant amount of code for new and existing databases and related systems
• Scale and own these backend systems and databases
• Ship high-quality code and architecture
• Mentor engineers on the team, developing their skills and helping advance their careers
• Work with the founders to flesh out the future of the product
• Help shape the future of our engineering organization

Requirements

• A passion for working on deeply technical projects and wanting to work on distributed systems, concurrency & parallelism, replication protocols, file systems & correctness
• You have been building applications for 5+ years with C/C++ or Rust and have significant backend, database, or systems-level programming experience
• You have a BS/MS/Ph.D. in a scientific field or equivalent experience
• You want to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment that respects its engineers and customers
• You are comfortable working with a 100% distributed engineering team, collaborating on GitHub, Slack, Zoom, etc. in the open and as a self-starter

Bonus points:

• Experience working on databases or other storage systems internals
• Experience with Apache Arrow, Apache Parquet
• Know how columnar databases work
• Know how to convert an algorithm to use SIMD instructions
• Good knowledge of Linux internals
• You’ve contributed to open-source libraries and actively participate in the development community (blogging, giving talks, meetups, tweeting, etc.)

• Understand functional and non-functional testing requirements (for UI, API, and Database) for web, mobile, and mobile web applications.
• Understand and document test automation requirements for functional and non-functional (including load, stress, and performance) testing
• Develop frameworks to test UI, API services, and databases
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using a pre-defined framework
• Participate in test automation code reviews
• Good understanding of testing platforms such as TestNG and automation tools or help develop custom tools used for integration testing purposes
• Work with build automation tools such as Maven
• Design, implementation, and execution of load, performance, volume, and scalability tests using industry-standard tools
• Identifying performance bottlenecks and making recommendations for performance tuning
• Raise PR and merge code into local and master branches, as required
• Collaborates with other quality and development engineers to build, evolve, and maintain a scalable continuous build and deployment pipeline
• Troubleshooting Jenkins, test failures, and build configurations
• Work closely with members of the development team to solve any issues identified. This includes deploying diggable build in test environments, understanding and debugging application code is required to resolve any blockers.
