Azure Data Engineer—Job Summary Seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer (8+ years) with expertise in designing and implementing scalable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem. The role involves managing data pipelines, storage, analytics, and optimization to support business intelligence and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize data pipelines & ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, PySpark.
• Manage Azure Data Lake and integrate with Azure Synapse Analytics for scalable storage and analytics.
• Design data solutions, optimize SQL queries, and implement .governance best practices.
• Support BI development and reporting needs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data engineering solutions.

Mandatory Skills: ✔ 8+ years in Azure Data Engineering ✔ Expertise in SQL and a programming language (preferably Python) ✔ Strong proficiency in ADF, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, PySpark ✔ Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes ✔ Experience with Apache Spark or similar tools.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to provide actionable insights that drive business strategy and improve operational efficiency. You will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into meaningful information, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Data Extraction and Manipulation:
• Extract data from various sources (databases, APIs, cloud platforms, etc.) using SQL, Python, or other relevant tools.
• Clean, transform, and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data processing.
• Data Analysis and Interpretation:
• Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and implement predictive models and algorithms to forecast future outcomes.
• Create insightful visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to communicate findings effectively.
• Perform A/B Testing, and other experimental design analysis.
• Reporting and Communication:

• Knowledge of Pre-Paid Card Systems to implement In house system  and / or manage Partner outsourced solutions --- Project Management  
• Must have Experiences in Skills such as Oracle, Sql, MySQL, Java, C++, C #, DOTNET, XML, Ajax, Java Scripts, Web technologies. etc.
• Experience in Cards Products – Pre-paid system (Single / Multi Currency), Forex’s cards (Card Management System/Issuances + Transactions processing).

📌 Knowledge of development technologies including HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, and CSS.

📌 Knowledge of  Microsoft.NET/ C#, If not Ready to learn 

📌 Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories.

📌 Internally motivated, able to work proficiently in a team environment.

📌 The candidate should be ready to learn multiple technologies.

Roles and Responsibility

1. Looking after entire field operations

2. Coordinate with the sales and technical team to resolve the issues.

3. Take full ownership of keeping the designated clients to keep them hooked to the solution provided by the company.

4. Addressing customer inquiries, concerns and suggestions.

5. Detect repetitive issues and finding a relevant solution for that.

6. Work along with the tech team to fine issues w.r.t to the product and make it stable.

7. Analyze and summarise the day’s work and reporting it to the team manager.

8. Manage maintenance of equipment / devices and services.
