Business development Executive

Strong Senior Visual Designer + Illustrator Profile

Mandatory (Experience) — Must have 4+ years of experience in visual design and illustration — with a demonstrable track record spanning brand identity, marketing collaterals, and custom illustration across client or studio contexts

Mandatory (Drawing & Illustration Fundamentals) — Must have strong drawing fundamentals with a developed illustration practice — working in vector, raster, mixed media, or hand media — covering brand storytelling illustration, editorial illustration, iconography, infographics, and marketing scenes.

Mandatory (Brand Identity) — Must have hands-on experience designing brand identities end-to-end — logo design, identity systems, brand guidelines, type systems, colour systems, and application across multiple touchpoints.

Mandatory (Typographic Literacy) — Must demonstrate high typographic literacy — the ability to name typefaces, reason about line-height and spacing decisions, pair type with intentionality, and build visual hierarchy through type before reaching for colour or decorative treatment.

Mandatory (Collateral Range) — Must have produced a broad range of brand and marketing collaterals — pitch decks, brochures, reports, posters, social assets, event assets, packaging, signage, and microsite visuals.

Mandatory (AI) — Must have a considered position on AI in creative work — using it only for reference and exploration, never to generate or substitute for original craft output.

Mandatory (Tool Fluency) — Must be fluent in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma as core tools — additional craft tools such as Procreate, paper, or hand media are welcome.

Mandatory (Portfolio) — Must have a portfolio that shows a visible, personal point of view across brand identity and illustration — work must be distinguishable as the candidate's own voice and not an aggregation of trend-following or Behance-style imitation; the portfolio must cover both identity and illustration, not one alone.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js.

Build and optimize Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) with offline capabilities, push notifications, and responsive design.

Implement mobile-first features and ensure cross-device compatibility.

Handle app packaging and distribution for various platforms (e.g., Android, iOS via PWA standards).

Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Design, build, and maintain a scalable component library to promote UI consistency and reusability across projects

Ensure cross-platform optimization and responsiveness of applications.

Optimize application performance and loading times.

Integrate APIs and manage state using modern tools (e.g., Redux, Context API).

Implement and manage push notifications and background sync features.

Advocate for and implement best practices in UI architecture, including modularity, theming, and performance optimization.

Stay up to date with the latest trends in Web development and PWA capabilities.

Hospitality services domain experience is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Proficiency in Agile methodologies and software development best practices.

Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

Excellent skills in writing about complex technical and business subjects to a variety of audiences.

ü  Be able to think like a user and create intuitive documentation as and when needed to create succinct documentation

ü  Be able to understand product thoroughly and interact with developers

ü  Ability to interact with different business groups and scope documentation assignments.

ü  Preferable exposure to eCommerce / Retail Analytics

ü  Precise documentation and clear communication skills

ü  Experience in API documentation is an added bonus

Skills and Experience

ü  Experience in content review and localization

ü  Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with a strong bias for action and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

ü  Experience with content management systems like Wordpress 

ü  Experience working in an Agile content development environment

ü  Experience in editorial/peer review

ü  Knowledge about eCommerce tools and plugins will be an advantage
