Job Summary :

We’re looking for an experienced Senior DBA to manage and optimize databases like MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Redis. You’ll ensure performance, security, and availability of databases across our systems and work closely with engineering teams for support and improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and maintain MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Redis databases.
• Handle backups, restores, upgrades, and replication.
• Optimize query performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure database security and access control.
• Work on disaster recovery and high availability.
• Support development teams with schema design and tuning.
• Automate tasks using scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud (AWS) teams.

Must-Have Skills :

• 6+ Years as a DBA in production environments.
• Strong hands-on with MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis.
• Performance tuning and query optimization.
• Backup/recovery and disaster recovery planning.
• Experience with AWS (RDS/EC2).
• Scripting knowledge (Python/Bash).
• Good understanding of database security.

Good to Have :

• Experience with MSSQL.
• Knowledge of tools like pgAdmin, Compass, Workbench.
• Database certifications.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for the Head of Artificial Intelligence at KGiSL Educational Institutions, located in Coimbatore. The Head of Artificial Intelligence will be responsible for overseeing and developing AI strategies and initiatives. Daily tasks include leading AI research projects, developing innovative AI solutions, managing a team of AI professionals, and collaborating with various departments to integrate AI methodologies into different functions. Roles & Responsibilities

• Delivers solution or infrastructure development services, such as coding, programming, and creating program specifications in a defined project, using sound technical capabilities.
• Develops, modifies, and maintains solutions or infrastructure, ensuring compliance with the relevant standards.
• Lead the Development & Engineering team in the area of specialization and developed the team to ensure it has the right capability.
• Contributes to the strategic direction within the area of specialization, including standards, culture, and ways of working in line with the departmental strategy
• Strategically leverage networks to drive innovation, best practices,s and continuous improvement culture.
• Drives the relationship with other departments and significantly contributes to the development of the design, technology, product development, and vendor strategy
• Work with business users to capture requirements and review code & design, ensuring excellent delivery as per standards.

• Ideate and create concept storyboards
•   Conceptualise and present ideas as per the brief
•   Pick and arrange effects, music that adds to the narrative
•   Shortlist visuals and footage to be used in the video
•   Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create videos for all marketing and product needs.
•   Reorder and fine-tune content to ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the video and time constraints are incorporated
•   Improve and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty footage & sound
•   Create transitions, titles, graphics and other supporting materials for the video
•   Work closely with producers, directors, external vendors, motion graphic designers and learning managers to present a final product that matches the overall vision
