Job Overview:

● The job description is very simple and is just 2 worded: Visual Design.

● Design packaging, posters, banners, characters, websites, logos, typography, illustrations and whatever comes your way because we strongly believe that the designs can make or break a brand.

● Hands-on experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.

● Strong Understanding of Visual Communication principles.

● Ability to interpret client needs and design briefs into actionable designs.

Details about the job. You will ...

• Work very closely with the Head of Engineering and the CEO directly
• Own major parts of our tech stack (Node.js/React.js) and your job will be focused primarily on backend (Node/SQL/MQs etc.), but with some front-end JS work (React) as needed
• Design, code, and deliver top-quality software that performs beautifully at scale
• Take ownership for your job and treat it like it is your baby
• This job is based in Chennai (NOT Remote). But we have a lot of flexibility for when life situations require you to work from home
• We are only a 40 person company (by choice) - so you will get amazing ownership!

A Bit About You.

• Really strong in Javascript especially in Node.js with at least 5 years of experience - if you are genuinely not super strong, please do not apply as you will find our interviews challenging and it might be a waste of your time
• Also has React.js experience so that you can support the front-end work as needed
• A strong Engineer who LIKES building software - not just someone who knows the frameworks and can code

We are looking for a Curriculum Content Developer and Designer for Computer Science (Coding) subject from Grade 1 to 10. The curriculum Designer’s responsibilities include creating detailed, engaging curriculum and quality resources. You should be passionate about learning and aware of how digital technology has reshaped education. You should have excellent technical writing, research, and communication skills. Selected candidate will be responsible for grade wise content outlines, preparing detailed interactive content, examples, assessments, training modules, teachers manual etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and develop quality curricula and learning resources.
• Create stimulating lesson plans and recommend interesting additional resources.
• Develop a range of digital resources to optimize classroom learning.
• Write engaging content that allows learners to meet their learning goals

Eligibility Criteria:

• Having 1-5 year of experience in similar domain.
• Appropriate educational background (minimum- Graduate in Computer Science /BE /B.Tech in Computer Science)
• Good knowledge in computer programming languages

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer / Information Science (BE / BTech) or Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA) Experience:
• Two to five years general software engineering experience
• Experience in web development using the Ruby on Rails web application framework
• At least two years of Ruby on Rails programming experience
• Thorough understanding of the philosophy and design of Ruby on Rails
• Desktop publishing skills: HTML5, xHTML, CSS

Knowledge of:

• JavaScript and JavaScript libraries: jQuery, Plugins etc.

• Experienced in Server Side Java, J2EE, Servlets, Spring/Spring boot, JAXB, JAX-WS, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Junit
• Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE
• Platforms with Open Source Frameworks - Spring/Spring boot, XML, Integration with SOAP and RESTful Web Services, WS security.

Our front end code base is in Angular while the backend code base is in Python-Django.
