Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems to ensure smooth plant operations. The role requires hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, equipment inspection, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Breakdown Maintenance

Attend machine and equipment breakdowns promptly.

Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.

Minimize downtime by carrying out effective repairs and corrective actions.

Preventive Maintenance

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on production equipment and utilities.

Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they lead to equipment failure.

Ensure all maintenance activities are completed as per maintenance schedules.

Equipment Maintenance

Carry out lubrication, alignment, and servicing of machines and equipment.

Maintain motors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and other industrial machinery.

Inspect and maintain electrical panels, wiring, switches, and control systems.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Update maintenance logbooks and equipment history sheets.

Report recurring issues and suggest improvement measures.

Safety & Compliance

Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Ensure proper use of tools, PPE, and maintenance equipment.

Support workplace housekeeping and 5S initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

ITI (Fitter/Electrician) or equivalent technical qualification.

2–3 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Qualifications: BTECH/MTECH/MCA/MSc.
• Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems with a knack for writing clean, readable Java code, writing reusable Java libraries along with knowledge of multithreading, concurrency patterns, and collections in Java. 
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming along with various design and architectural patterns.
• Hands on experience with JMS, JPA, Spring (MVC, Boot & Cloud preferred) & Hibernate.
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful.  Experience with Presentation Layer (JSP/Servlets), JS Frameworks (Angular, jQuery, react, etc.).
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes and experience with both external and embedded databases. Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Ant, Maven, and Gradle; continuous integration.
• Knowledge in xml based mappings, SAML, rest clients, CAS authentication and Jetty.
• Knowledge of Apache Camel and Kafka and Drools Rule Engine is preferred.

An entrepreneurial conference research and production company looking for an ambitious, dedicated and experienced Conference Manager to help grow both the conferences and the company.

We are looking for someone creative, organised and passionate about project management and events,who can plan an event from start to finish that exceed our expectations.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal to execution, on time, within budget, that exceed our expectations
• Coordinate all operations, from sourcing and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to venue searches and bookings
• Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
• Develop and maintain event databases, such as filtering and segmentation, with meticulous attention to detail
• Coordinate event logistics and collateral material design, production and distribution and maintain production schedules for event materials/collateral

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years minimum operational or project management experience from a B2B events/conference production company
• Graduated to degree level or equivalent in your chosen discipline, ideally Marketing, Social Sciences, Humanities, Languages or similar
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
• Ability to work independently and show a strong sense of initiative, taking ownership of key projects when required with a proactive attitude
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and be flexible is essential
• Works well as part of fast-paced team, prioritising effectively and managing workload
• Excellent IT skills - proficient in both Windows and Mac operating systems (i.e. PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written, able to successfully interact with all parts of the business and stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent organisational, analytical and administrative skills, meticulous attention to detail
