Job Description:
Ticket Management
- Log all IT service requests/incidents raised by users through phone, email, or in-person.
- Assign tickets to the relevant IT engineer based on the nature of the issue and engineer availability.
- Ensure timely acknowledgment of tickets logged in the Helpdesk system (ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus or equivalent).
- Follow up with the concerned engineer for updates and resolution timelines.
- Provide regular status updates to end-users and ensure ticket closure confirmation.
2 Escalation Handling
- Proactively escalate delayed or unresolved tickets to the appropriate senior IT team members or as per escalation matrix.
- Track the ticket lifecycle to ensure SLA adherence.
3 Asset Management
- Maintain and update the IT Asset Register regularly.
- Coordinate with the team for asset issuance, movement, and return (laptops, desktops, printers, accessories, etc.).
- Ensure tagging and documentation of all IT assets in coordination with the IT Infrastructure Team.
4 Reporting & Documentation
o Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on ticket statistics, open issues, SLA breaches, etc.
o Maintain proper documentation of asset movements, handover forms, incident reports, etc.
5 Communication & Coordination
o Act as a central communication point for all IT-related queries and complaints.
o Communicate with vendors (if required) for updates on external support tickets.
o Maintain professional and courteous behaviors while interacting with users at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination
- Attend meetings and assist in determining project documentation requirements.
- Plan project progress by defining sub-goals, milestones, tasks, time, and resource planning.
- Cooperate in setting benchmark figures for project implementation and decision-making.
- Use project scheduling and control tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) to monitor project plans, work hours, and task progress.
- Plan personnel utilization, determine responsibilities, and create a personnel plan.
Project Administration and Documentation
- Provide project administration support and monitor project requirements.
- Create and maintain Minutes of Meetings (MOM) and ensure they are shared with stakeholders.
- Document project progress, including maintaining a project log and project file.
- Maintain a Contract Execution Tracking Log to ensure client requirements are met on time.
- Document problems and resolutions for future reference.
Progress Tracking and Reporting
- Track the progress and quality of work being performed by the team and escalate priority issues as needed.
- Monitor project risks and hazards, taking appropriate measures for avoidance.
- Effectively communicate project updates to clients and the internal team, ensuring clarity and timeliness.
- Track and follow up on pending approvals from clients, especially those related to UX or design decisions.
Team Support and Mentorship
- Manage personnel responsible for project tasks, including holding regular work meetings, motivating staff, and managing conflicts and crises.
- Mentor and ensure the team continually strives for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Understand the functionality of the application being developed and keep the team updated.
- Maintain consistency in icons, fonts, styles, and functionalities across projects.
Technical Involvement
- Analyse user specifications and requirements to convert them into wireframes or actionable tasks.
- Estimate deliverables and ensure they are delivered on time.

Your Responsibilities:
- Own the backend stack – Python based, that powers our product
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Backend Developers(Node.js), Front-end developers, DevOps to design and implement new features
