About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our IT team. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to ensure that requirements are gathered, analyzed, and implemented in alignment with the company’s business objectives. This role demands strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and research to gather business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and UX designers, to ensure project goals align with business objectives.
- Documentation & Communication:
- Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
- Prepare user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- System Modeling & Design:
- Utilize modeling tools (such as UML or BPMN) to create workflow diagrams and system architecture.
- Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize the functionality and design of new systems or enhancements.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze data to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Work with SQL databases to query data and assist in reporting.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Project Support & Coordination:
- Work closely with the development team throughout the Agile development lifecycle, ensuring that requirements are implemented effectively.
- Assist in managing sprints, user acceptance testing (UAT), and quality assurance processes.
- Provide post-implementation support and address any issues that arise after system go-live.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the business stakeholders and the IT team.
- Facilitate communication between all parties, ensuring that stakeholders’ needs are met.
- Pre-Sales & Post-Sales Support:
- Assist in pre-sales activities by evaluating client requirements, conducting feasibility studies, and providing solutions.
- Participate in post-sales support, ensuring that solutions are successfully implemented and meet the customer’s expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT company or related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL) and reporting software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Understanding of APIs and system integrations.
