PLC Flex Developer. 4+ years on FlexPLM(Retail/Apparel). Java usage within FlexPLM. Domain- Retail/apparel/footwear/fashion/consumer products experience. At least 1 migration with clear approach.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Min 6 years of development experience in Spring Boot & Microservices architecture
• Working experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MySQL, Spring Data JPA, AWS, Spring Cloud, Maven, GitHub, Swagger, Eureka, Zuul etc.
• Strong understanding of API Security for Microservices (Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, JWT)
• Strong understanding of web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
• Ability to work independently or with group

• Strong understanding of modern development methodologies and best industry standards
• Experience working with APIs, RESTful APIs & Microservices
• Experience building highly scalable applications using Redis, Kafka, Akka, gRPC
• Mentor, Train 3-4 engineers 
• AWS knowledge is a plus
• Strong knowledge on SQL and NoSQL Databases
• Should have worked on developing large scale products and services
• Knowledge on Agile processes is a must
• Able to work with multiple distributed teams

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

- A professional degree in Computer Science from a reputable institution, backed by a consistent academic record.

- A knack for problem-solving, data structures, and algorithms.

- Proficiency in ElasticSearch.

- 6+ years of hands-on development experience, primarily in building products for large enterprises.

- Exceptional communication skills.

- Mastery in Java programming; familiarity with Python is a plus.- Experience with Spring Boot.

- Practical knowledge of one or more cloud-based technologies (e.g., ElasticSearch, Storm, Hazelcast, MongoDB, Ceph, Kafka) is highly desirable.

- Expertise in building concurrent and/or parallelized, highly performant scalable applications.

- A track record of identifying and addressing complex issues in scalable deployments.

- Exposure to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) is an added advantage.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Dive deep into technical aspects (Analysis, Design & Implementation) as required.

- Take complete ownership of features within the product.

- Engage in debates and detailed discussions about functional and non-functional requirements with our Product Management team.

- Collaborate with the team to design solutions, seeking stakeholder input before implementation.

- Create essential artifacts such as functional specifications and detailed designs for your assigned features.

- Implement intricate features with an unwavering commitment to quality, following the Test- Driven Development (TDD) process.

- Maintain open lines of communication, promptly reporting risks and progress to your supervising manager.

- Share your expertise and mentor team members.

- Provide support by troubleshooting and creating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues, subsequently working on short-term and long-term solutions.

• Co-ordinate with internal teams and external partners in ensuring we build the best solution on time for the customer. Constantly looking at ways to innovate and improve the product.
• 8+ years of experience in Java & J2EE based Web Technologies & Frameworks with a focus in either Service Oriented Architecture or APIs. 
• Experience in designing scalable solutions in a large-scale distributed environment.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies, common web frameworks, networking, SQL and database technologies
• Well versed in software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies
• Strong debugging / troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to propose and defend solutions.
• Ability to work closely with product management, customer support, and  other engineering teams to continuously evolve and innovate the enterprise-class Products.
