Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Team lead to architect, build, and scale high-performance web applications that power our core products. You will lead the full development lifecycle—from system design to deployment—while mentoring the team and driving best engineering practices across frontend and backend stacks.

 Design & Implement: Lead the design, implementation and management of Trential products.

 Lead by example: Be the most senior and impactful engineer on the team, setting the technical bar through your direct contributions.

 Code Quality & Best Practices: Enforce high standards for code quality, security, and performance through rigorous code reviews, automated testing, and continuous delivery pipelines.

 Standards Adherence: Ensure all solutions comply with relevant open standards like W3C Verifiable Credentials (VCs), Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) & Privacy Laws, maintaining global interoperability.

 Continuous Improvement: Lead the charge to continuously evaluate and improve the products & processes. Instill a culture of metrics-driven process improvement to boost team efficiency and product quality.

 Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Co-Founders & Product Team to translate business requirements and market needs into clear, actionable technical specifications and stories. Represent Trential in interactions with external stakeholders for integrations.

What we're looking for:

 Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years as a Technical Lead.

 Technical Depth: Deep proficiency in JavaScript and experience in building and operating distributed, fault-tolerant systems.

 Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS & GCP) and modern DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Docker).

 Databases: Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling for high-throughput, secure applications.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

 Identity & Credentials: Knowledge of decentralized identity principles, Verifiable Credentials (W3C VCs), DIDs, and relevant protocols (e.g., OpenID4VC, DIDComm)

 Familiarity with data privacy and security standards (GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001) and designing systems complying to these laws.

 Experience integrating AI/ML models into verification or data extraction workflows

• Ownership of product/feature end-to-end for all phases from the development to the production.
• Ensuring the developed features are scalable and highly available with no quality concerns.
• Work closely with senior engineers for refining the design and implementation.
• Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments.
• Assist directly and indirectly in the continual hiring and development of technical talent.
• Create and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts.
• Contribute intellectual property through patents.

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of Software Development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms and CS fundamentals.
• Strong coding and problem solving skills.

• Experience working with service oriented architectures and web-based solutions.
• Experience in eCommerce and deep hands-on technical expertise
• Experience working on the AWS technologies.
• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working on Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban).

Position: PHP / MYSQL Developer & NodeJS / MongoDB Developer 

  -  The selected candidate is required to work on Core PHP or NodeJS/MongoDB. 

  -   Building web services for Mobile applications. 

   Selected candidate will be a part of product development team and have to manage both maintenance and enhancement projects.

Position: Software Development Engineer, NodeJs

Experience: 3-7 Years

Responsibilities:

 Work with product team / business / architects to understand the requirement

and develop and maintain back end application logic

 Work with front end developers to ensure seamless integration with the back

end logic

 Design and optimize application for high performance and high availability

Develop Secure, testable and scalable application

Experience Required:

 Engineering Graduate with 3 to 7 years of experience in software development.

 Strong proficiency with JavaScript and ES6 or ECMA 2015 on Node.js platform.

 Knowledge of frameworks such as Express, KOA is desirable.

 Knowledge and understanding of async non-blocking architecture

 Knowledge of creating REST-ful APIs.

 Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms, Node Global variables and In built libraries.

 Experience in building high-volume transactional customer facing systems desirable
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds

 Knowledge of packages BABEL, Webpack

 Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3

 Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
