Role Overview

As an SDE 2 Back-end Engineer at Astra, you will play a crucial role in the development of a new vulnerability scanner from scratch. You will be architecting & engineering a scalable technical solution from the ground-up.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside talented individuals, collaborating to deliver innovative solutions and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in vulnerability scanning. The role requires deep collaboration with the founders, product, engineering & security teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• You will be joining our Vulnerability Scanner team which builds a security engine to identify vulnerabilities in technical infrastructure.
• You will be the technical product owner of the scanner, which would involve managing a lean team of backend engineers to ensure smooth implementation of the technical product roadmap.
• Research about security vulnerabilities, CVEs, and zero-days affecting cloud/web/API infrastructure.
• Work in an agile environment of engineers to architect, design, develop and build our microservice infrastructure.
• You will research, design, code, troubleshoot and support (on-call). What you create is also what you own.
• Writing secure, high quality, modular, testable & well documented code for features outlined in every sprint.
• Design and implement APIs in support of other services with a highly scalable, flexible, and secure backend using GoLang
• Hands-on experience with creating production-ready code & optimizing it by identifying and correcting bottlenecks.
• Driving strict code review standards among the team.
• Ensuring timely delivery of the features/products
• Working with product managers to ensure product delivery status is transparent & the end product always looks like how it was imagined
• Work closely with Security & Product teams in writing vulnerability detection rules, APIs etc.

Required Qualifications & Skills: 

• Strong 2-4 years relevant development experience in GoLang
• Experience in building a technical product from idea to production.
• Design and build highly scalable and maintainable systems in Golang
• Expertise in Goroutines and Channels to write efficient code utilizing multi-core CPU optimally
• Must have hands-on experience with managing AWS/Google Cloud infrastructure
• Hands on experience in creating low latency high throughput REST APIs
• Write test suites and maintain code coverage above 80%
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka
• Good to have experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka
• Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms and Operating Systems.
• Understanding of cloud/web security concepts would be an added advantage

TECHNICAL MANAGER

Department: Product Engineering Location: Noida/Chennai

Experience: 12+ years with 2+ years in a similar role

Job Summary:

We are looking for an inspiring leader to lead a dynamic R&D team with a strong “Product & Customer” spirit. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the entire process, from design and specification to code quality, process integration and delivery performance

Key Responsibilities:

•

Collaborate closely with Product Management teams to design and develop business modules.

•

As a manager, coordinate a diverse team and ensure collaboration between different departments. Empathetic and fair yet demanding management with particular attention to operational excellence.

•

Actively participate in resolving technical issues and challenges that the team encounters during development and escalated client implementation and production issues

•

Anticipate technical challenges and work to address them proactively to minimize disruptions to the development process. Guides the team in making architectural choices

•

Promote and advocate for best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing practices, and documentation.

Make informed decisions on technical trade-offs and communicate those decisions to the team and stakeholders.

PROFILE

•

Good proficiency overlaps with technologies like: Java17, Spring, SpringMVC, RESTful web services, Hibernate, RDBMS, Spring Security, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, JMeter, Angular.

•

Strong experience in development tools, CI/CD pipelines. Extensive experience with Agile.

•

Deep understanding of cloud technologies on at least one of the cloud platforms AWS, Azure or Google Cloud

•

Strong communicator with ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build relationships, and achieve broader organizational goals.

•

Proven leadership skills

•

Product development experience preferred. Fintech or lending domain experience is a plus.

•

Engineering degree or equivalent.

• 6+ years of experience with expertise in Django CMS, Python, REST framework, AI framework
• MySQL Db usage, SQL queries
• Experience in using scraping tools.

Job Title: Odoo Developer
Job Type: Full Time
Job Location: India- Bangalore/Pune
Reporting To: Manager ERP Solutions/Director Cloud Engineering
Work Hours: 9 hours (Indian Shift)

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for interacting with internal and external customers, gather requirements, map it to the system design solution if required, discuss it with Functional consultant and deploy/implement it and post implementation support.

Qualifications:

BSc Computer Science, Electronics, MSc/MCA, PGDCA or any equivalent degree

Experience – 1- 3 Years

Skills:

Functional Skills:

• Good understanding of ERP Process and system
• Candidates should have hands-on experience in implementing Odoo Sh preferably, Odoo Online, Enterprise, Odoo Community Edition or experience in implementing any other ERP Software.
• Good Knowledge on the following: Purchase Process (Procure 2 Pay), Sales Process(Order 2 Cash), CRM , Accounting, Manufacturing

Technical Skills:

• Must knowledge on core Python programming concepts, Django framework, JavaScripts
• Good knowledge on SQL, PostgreSQL
• Good knowledge on ORM methods, Xml, Jquery/JS
• Good to have knowledge on Odoo Framework, Installing Odoo, Customize modules, create modules.
