General Summary:
As a Digital Data Management Architect, you will design, implement, and optimize advanced data management systems that support processing billions of digital transactions, ensuring high availability and accuracy. You will leverage your expertise in developing identity graphs, real-time data processing, and API integration to drive insights and enhance user experiences across digital platforms. Your role is crucial in building scalable and secure data architectures that support real-time analytics, identity resolution, and seamless data flows across multiple systems and applications.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture & System Design:
- Design and implement scalable data architectures capable of processing billions of digital transactions in real-time, ensuring low latency and high availability.
- Architect data models, workflows, and storage solutions to enable seamless real-time data processing, including stream processing and event-driven architectures.
- Identity Graph Development:
- Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive identity graph to unify disparate data sources, enabling accurate identity resolution across channels.
- Develop algorithms and data matching techniques to enhance identity linking, while maintaining data accuracy and privacy.
- Real-Time Data Processing & Analytics:
- Implement real-time data ingestion, processing, and analytics pipelines to support immediate data availability and actionable insights.
- Work closely with engineering teams to integrate and optimize real-time data processing frameworks such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, or Spark Streaming.
- API Development & Integration:
- Design and develop real-time APIs that facilitate data access and integration across internal and external platforms, focusing on security, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define API specifications, data contracts, and SLAs to meet business and user requirements.
- Data Governance & Security:
- Establish data governance practices to maintain data quality, privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards across all digital transactions and identity graph data.
- Ensure security protocols and access controls are embedded in all data workflows and API integrations to protect sensitive information.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with data engineering, analytics, and product teams to align data architecture with business requirements and strategic goals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and data engineers, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, digital data management, or a related field, with a proven track record in managing billion+ transactions.
- Deep experience with identity resolution techniques and building identity graphs.
- Strong proficiency in real-time data processing technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink, Spark) and API development (RESTful and/or GraphQL).
- In-depth knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL), data warehousing solutions, and cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and data governance best practices.

You will work in the India office (INO), which currently comprises ~1000 Firm members and external workers. You would oversee, guide and direct operations and strategy for all functions pertaining to Location management, Travel (Air, Ground transportation, Hotels and Guesthouses), Executive Assistants (90 members), Visual Graphics (50 members), Events management for the office, as well as personnel practices for our support staff.
You would work very closely with the Office Manager and senior leadership of the Firm in this role. You will also engage extensively with the Director of Professional Development, Director of Finance and Director of Strategic Initiatives for the India office. You would connect and collaborate with the local Partner group and different office functional teams (e.g., IT/ finance, etc.) besides your regional/ global counterparts.
What You'll Do:
- You would be responsible for end-to-end planning, strategy, and guidance on all activities pertaining to Real estate, Assistants cohort, Visual Graphics, Travel, Events and operations for the office, and personnel management for the support staff.
- You will engage with stakeholders at multiple levels to strategize, manage and problem-solve on-the-job to ensure that the office is compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements surrounding these areas of work.
- You would design and oversee personnel practices for support staff across departments, including recruiting, evaluation, compensation, benefits, training, and development.
- In addition, you would mentor and provide leadership support to functional managers to ensure that high-quality support is provided to consultants; establish and monitor adherence to core processes and policies and constantly innovate support models to continuously enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- You would be responsible for overseeing physical facilities (e.g., lease arrangements, construction projects), working with leadership and Firm Real Estate to design optimal solutions that balance cost and functionality. You would work with functional managers to develop financial plans and track/report key performance metrics; with office leadership and finance team, manage office support economics and proactively identify and execute improvement opportunities.
- As appropriate, you would need to facilitate external administrative interactions - e.g., government and regulatory bodies, service agents, tax, corporate registrations. As and when needed, you would be required to support office leadership in risk management, including client arrangements, confidentiality and working papers processes, disaster preparations and business continuity planning.
- You would oversee the events function within the office; providing guidance on every event undertaken by the team.
- You would also manage the travel function for INO, driving strategic partnerships and providing oversight on travel operations.
- You would be expected to liaise with Firm/regional leaders and other cells to integrate the office with relevant administrative networks, processes and policies and share and implement best practices where appropriate.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have:
- 15+ years' experience in managing administration, travel and personnel-related operations, strategy, and compliances for a large-sized organization or multinational company
- At least a Bachelor's degree; an MBA would be an added advantage
- Broad business acumen; finance/ operations knowledge will be a plus
- Thorough familiarity with office administration, real estate, personnel management, travel, and events
- Senior presence and ability to develop strong, collaborative relationships with office/practice leaders
- Excellent problem solving, analytic, and project management skills
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Strong team leadership and people development ability

- Develop Proof-of-Concept and prototype applications using new technologies and frameworks. In addition to collaborating with internal teams and clients to create innovative solutions.
- Help establish GUI best practices and JavaScript frameworks for web development.
- Provide context and guidance for integration and implementation of Front-End Interfaces
- Translate wireframes, comps, and functional requirements into functional HTML/ CSS / Javascript.
- Develop standards-compliant mark-up and code for web sites and applications
- Develop JavaScript using standard Frameworks (jQuery, etc.)
- Develop small to medium size custom JavaScript libraries for reuse across the application
- Provide technology and implementation expertise to the domain, projects, or client
- Maintain leading-edge knowledge in emerging technologies and frameworks
- Participate in knowledge sharing and lessons learned sessions from project experiences
Skills and Experience :
- 2-7 years of experience as a Java/J2EE developer.
- 1-3 years of experience with Angular / React is desirable.
- 2-5 years of experience in using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Thorough knowledge of server-side development.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Good understanding of web services (WSDL SOAP, RESTful).
- Hands-on experience in using Application Servers like WebSphere.
- Expertise in relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
- AI/ML domain knowledge is desirable.
- Familiarity with common stacks.
- Knowledge of multiple frontend languages and libraries, like HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery.
- Experience in implementation of Microservices
- Experience with AWS (S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, EC2, ALB, API Gateway, Lambda, etc.) is highly desirable
- Good understanding of Docker & Kubernetes is highly desired.
- Familiarity with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgresSQL), web servers (Apache), and UI/UX designs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
