Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the CXO’s calendar, appointments, meetings, travel arrangements, and daily schedule efficiently.
• Track, document, and follow up on all tasks and action items assigned to the CXO to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare meeting agendas, take detailed minutes of meetings (MoM), and coordinate action items with internal teams.
• Draft, proofread, and organize professional communications, including emails, presentations, and reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on behalf of the CXO.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure systematic documentation and record-keeping.
• Anticipate the CXO’s requirements, provide timely reminders, and prepare relevant materials ahead of meetings.
• Support day-to-day administrative and operational activities as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant.
• Experience in healthcare, technology, or startup environments is preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

We store multibillion files and multiple petabytes of data. We observe more than 11K API requests per second on average. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

•  Design, build and maintain self-hosted and cloud environments to serve our own applications and services.

•  Collaborate with software developers to build stable, scalable and high-performance solutions.

•   Taking part in big projects like migrating solutions from self-hosted environments to the cloud, from virtual machines to Kubernetes, from monolith to microservices.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

•  5+ years of proven experience in a DevOps Engineer, System Administrator or Developer role, working on infrastructure or build processes.

•  Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure.

•  Programming prowess (Python, Golang).

• Knowledge and experience about deployment and maintenance of Java and Python apps using application and web servers (Tomcat, Nginx, etc.).

• Ability to solve complex problems with simple, elegant and clean code.

• Practical knowledge of CI/CD solutions, GitLab CI or similar.

• Practical knowledge of Docker as a tool for testing and building an environment.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and related technologies.

• Experience with metric-based monitoring solutions.

• Solid English skills to effectively communicate with other team members.

• Good understanding of the Linux Operating System on the administration level.

• Drive to grow as a DevOps Engineer (we value open-mindedness and a can-do attitude).

• Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive big projects.

Required skills:

• Deep understanding of how to build an application with easy integration of RESTful APIs along with good sense of UI designs.

• Knowledge of a how a frontend and backend framework like Angular or Django or similar with ORM or multi-tier, multi-DB-based data-heavy web application development will help your profile stand out.

• Proficiency in (S)CSS, HTML5, Javascript and writing cross-browser compatible code along with CSS framework like Bootstrap.

• Good understanding of RxJS observables and/or Promises, chart libraries like ChartJS or Highcharts.

• Good understanding of bundling modules (Webpack or gulp)

The role provides L2 and L3 support and IS services to F&PA community using the Cognos Controller Applications

1. Problem determination / troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for our IBM Cognos Controller Cloud and On-Premises offerings 
2. Create or enhance knowledge assets for our Knowledge Base (how-to guides, technical notes or similar).
3. Contribute to key operational metrics: for example: NPS, initial response times, backlog management, Time to Resolution

Technical expertise:

1. Previous experience with IBM Cognos Controller, Planning Analytics, or equivalent financial consolidation software (e.g. Anaplan, Tagetek, OneStream, Vena Financial Close Management, Oracle Financial Consolidation, )
