We are seeking a seasoned C++ Developer with expertise in WebAssembly and a passion for immersive 3D virtual environments. This role involves working closely with our Unreal Engine team to develop and optimize a cutting-edge 3D virtual store experience. Key Responsibilities:

● Development: Design, develop, and optimize modules in C++ for Unreal Engine to create interactive 3D virtual environments.

● WebAssembly Integration: Implement and enhance WebAssembly components to ensure seamless functionality and performance across browsers.

● Optimization: Analyze and optimize code for performance, memory usage, and cross-platform compatibility.

Required Qualifications:

● C++ Expertise: Proven track record of 5+ years of professional experience in C++ programming.

● WebAssembly Proficiency: Hands-on experience with compiling and optimizing code for WebAssembly, including Emscripten.

● Unreal Engine Experience: Strong understanding of Unreal Engine workflows, blueprints, and C++ scripting.

● JavaScript Basics: Working knowledge of JavaScript to integrate and troubleshoot WebAssembly modules with front-end environments.

● 3D Graphics Knowledge: Familiarity with 3D rendering, physics simulations, and GPU optimizations.

● Performance Optimization: Demonstrated ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.

● Version Control: Experience with Git or similar version control systems.

Preferred Skills:

Responsibilities: 

1.                  Lead the strategic planning, development, and launch of Azure integration capabilities within our flagship product ensuring a seamless and efficient integration process. 

2.                  Conduct market research and engage with customers to understand their needs and challenges related to Azure cloud services. 

3.                  Collaborate with engineering, design, and sales teams to define product requirements, roadmaps, and go-to-market strategies for Azure Launch. 

4.                  Deliver actionable product feature requirements and stories with wireframes (hands-on work is required here) 

5.                  Drive feature delivery to customers and conduct feedback loop based improvements. 

6.                  Stay abreast of Azure services and cloud industry trends to ensure our product remains competitive and innovative. 

Required Experience and Skills: 

·                    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A master's degree or an MBA would be a plus. 

·                    4+ years of experience in a product management role, ideally in a cloud-based product environment. 

·                    Strong understanding of Azure services, cloud computing technologies, and SaaS platforms. 

·                    Experience building features/ solutions in Cloud Management/Cloud Operations in FinOps, SecOps, Cloud IT Ops. 

·                    Experience with Azure Migration, Azure CloudOps configuration, Managed Services is a plus 

·                    Passion for Automation and simplification of complex IT processes 

·                    Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

I would need someone with DevOps experience, to ensure that the project is undertaken with the highest standards possible. I have had many experiences where ‘completed’ software after years of development was filled with bugs and it would be more cost-effective to start from scratch than to attempt to find and correct all the bugs.

I have attempted to learn as much as possible, but I now have an opportunity and it would better serve the venture to have someone handle the management of the project to ensure that;

• We choose the most appropriate technology
• We choose competent developers in those technologies
• The architecture and data modeling are clearly defined in a ‘blueprint’ plan
• A DevOps environment and processes are set up and the developers understand what is required
• Proper tests are carried out to ensure everything works as intended
• There are processes for testers to follow and competent testers are selected to follow them
• Accessibility, localization, and internationalization are planned ahead of time
• Security, scalability, and other future probabilities that I may not even be aware of are considered and planned ahead of time
• Documentation and code reviews, refactoring and other quality assurance processes are undertaken
• Working software is produced and systems that enable new developers or teams of people to easily take over and/or contribute new modules or updates in a controlled and organized fashion
• Cost estimates or budgets/projections or use of SaaS, hosting and other 3rd party services and applications

I am more concerned with a professional and world-class organizational system than with any particular type of software been produced as the strong foundation will enable anything to be creating with efficacy and precision.
