Position Title : Python Django Developer

Location : Gurgaon (6 Days WFO)

Job Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Python Django Developer with a strong background in developing scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate must have 3+ Years of hands-on experience in Django and related technologies, including RabbitMQ, Redis, Celery, and PostgreSQL, to ensure seamless background task management, caching, and database performance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Django-based web applications and APIs.
• Design and implement message broker solutions using RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication.
• Integrate Redis for caching and session management to optimize application performance.
• Implement and manage task queues using Celery for efficient background processing.
• Work with PostgreSQL, ensuring proper database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the application stack.
• Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and team meetings.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of applications.

Required Technical Skills :

• Minimum 3+ Years of relevant experience in Python and Django framework.
• Proficiency in RabbitMQ for message brokering.
• Hands-on experience with Redis for caching and session management.
• Strong knowledge of Celery for distributed task queues.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, indexing, and optimization.
• Expertise in RESTful API design and development.
• Understanding of Docker and containerized applications.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of Django ORM and its performance optimizations.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Educational Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Strong Software Engineer fullstack profile using NodeJS / Python and React

Mandatory (Experience) - Must have 6+ YOE in Software Development using Python OR NodeJS (For backend) & React (For frontend)

Mandatory (Core Skills 1): Must have strong experience in working on Typescript

Mandatory (Core Skills 2): Must have experience in message based systems like Kafka, RabbitMq, Redis

Mandatory (Core Skills 3): Databases - PostgreSQL & NoSQL databases like MongoDB

Mandatory (Company) - Product Companies Only

Mandatory (Education) - B.Tech or Dual degree (Btech and Mtech or Integrated Msc/MS) from Tier 1 Engineering Institutes. Candidates from other institutions will not be considered unless they come from top-tier product companies

Responsibilities:

1. Relentlessly simplify and distill complex business processes into intuitive and elegant product experiences.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to help define best-in-class user experiences.
3. Create process flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mocks to effectively communicate design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors.
4. Drive the development and communication of design guidelines and patterns, with focus on providing a consistent and intuitive experience across the product ecosystem.
5. Participate in the planning process for new products and features helping drive the vision across the products.
6. Own the production of world-class designs and documents for presentation to engineers, product managers, peer design teams, and senior executives.
7. Assist in the development and evaluation of personas, user stories, and usability studies.

Experience in Test Automation Using Selenium 

1. Understanding Test Requirements and analyzing the Application under Test(AUT). 
2. Generating Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Selenium Element locators and WebDriver API Commands. 
3. Enhancing Test cases using Java Programming. 
4. Debugging Test Cases and Fixing Errors.

This person MUST have:

• Minimum of 2 year's experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Configure and install various network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, servers)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades
• Must be good in Linux platform and basic hardware.
• Provide Level-1/2 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
• Work on ticket portal for ongoing customer queries.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment pleasant, professional, and courteous personality skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills providing call support to Internal and External End Users.
• Handle customer calls/emails regarding technical issues for end users.
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail.
• Linux, drafting for email and tickets, basic understanding of vmware is important.

Timings:

• 40 hours a week with a rotational shift every month.
