Job Title: Automation Test Lead

Location: Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu

Work Mode: Work from Office (WFO) – 5 Days a Week

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Lead to spearhead our QA efforts in both automation and manual testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Selenium with Java, the ability to lead a team of 10+ testers, and hands-on experience in building automation frameworks from scratch. Exposure to Cypress and a working knowledge of AI in testing would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of QA engineers across manual and automation testing streams
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch
• Define test strategies, plans, and processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts
• Ensure timely execution and reporting of all QA activities
• Guide and mentor team members on test automation best practices
• Identify, record, and track bugs using appropriate tools
• Contribute to continuous improvement in test processes and quality standards
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools, trends, and techniques, including AI-driven QA

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in QA with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
• Strong expertise in Selenium with Java
• Hands-on experience in creating automation frameworks from scratch
• Experience with manual testing practices and team coordination
• Working knowledge of Cypress is a plus
• Exposure or interest in AI/ML applications in testing
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestNG, Jenkins, Git, etc.

Good to Have:

• Certifications in Selenium/Agile/ISTQB
• Knowledge of performance or security testing
• Prior experience in leading distributed teams

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• BE/BTech in Computer Science or related field. 
• Minimum 3+ years of UI/Frontend development and a strong understanding of building complex layouts using JavaScript, CSS and HTML.

KEY SKILLS

• Strong computer system analysis and design skills in current methodologies and patterns including vanilla JavaScript, some experience with ReactJS, Redux, React Native, Webpack, and Typescript or similar library/tools.
• Obsessed with WPO (Web Performance Optimization) and web/mobile performance analysis.
• Experienced with web standards and protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and socket APIs in general.

1. Application Developer -API

• Experience: 2-5 years
• Experience in Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements using AZURE API development.
• Design, Build, Test and deploy the APIs using Microsoft Azure.
• Needs to support and handle the production APIs.
• Should have knowledge in Design Patterns.
