Full Stack Lead R&D Engineer( Java)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will lead full-stack development initiatives, mentor the development team, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions using modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end components using AngularJS.
• Build secure RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot.
• Integrate and manage MongoDB for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA teams.
• Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding best practices.
• Debug and resolve technical issues across the full stack.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for frontend and backend.
• Manage Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven track record in full-stack development.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in AngularJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Strong backend skills using Java & Spring Boot.
• Experience with MongoDB, including schema design and queries.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and web architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Maven, Git.
• Familiarity with JSON, XML, and serialization formats.
• Strong knowledge of web security best practices.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines.

Leadership Skills:

Job Title: Java Tech Lead & Solution Architect

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 8+ years in Java technologies with 2–3 years in solution architecture.

Key Skills:

• Strong background in SOA and enterprise-level solutions
• Hands-on experience in leading development teams and projects
• Proficiency in creating technical documentation and solution designs
• Skilled in client interaction, technical demos, and requirement analysis

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery and ensure timely, quality output
• Design software architecture, high/low-level design, and integration plans
• Mentor team members and manage task assignments
• Conduct code reviews, manage repositories, and ensure deployment readiness
• Collaborate with stakeholders for requirement gathering and solution finalization
• Maintain project documentation and participate in audits and reviews
• Drive technical strategy, innovation, and productization of solutions

Profile

Purpose of Role: To support and maintain the existing and future applications managed by ABD (Agile Business Development) Team.

Main Responsibilities:

• To work on existing and future applications as required
• Work with ABD India Application Support and Business Support team to address production issues and/or to do development work
• Work with US ABD team to coordinate the on-going support and monthly release of C-Hub (Customer-Hub) application and other ABD Applications
• Report status to management on project progress
• Identify and escalate related issues and risks
• Coordinate with others in Development and Business Support team to implement new features of SQL Server/ MS Web based technologies 
• Assess current modules and offer performance improvements techniques  
• Make sure Database Design Standards/coding standards established by ABD are followed
• Constant communication with ABD leadership team in US.
• Problem Solving ability with “Can-do” attitude
• IT experience in Banking industry is preferred

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience and bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent with good communication Skill
• Strong background in Microsoft Technologies and SDLC concepts. Should have experience in below technologies:
• Microsoft .Net (ASP.NET & ASP .NET CORE)
• C#, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery /Angular 2 +(Angular version 2 or higher), Typescript
• MVC and WebAPI
• MS SQL Server management Studio (SSMS) to develop database objects such as Stored Procedures, Functions, views, triggers, constraints etc. and look for performance tuning and Exception handling for these components
• Good to have: Understanding of MS Excel VBA /MS-access/ macro codes

• Roles and Responsibilities:
  
  Hands-on experience on Angular, CSS, Scripting, NodeJs/express
  Experience in Responsive Web, Automation, CI/CD, Github, Microservices, Postgres (or any other RDBMS)
  Experience in AWS (SQS, SNS, Cognito)

  Strong experience in REST APIs

What you will be doing

• Working closely with the Engineering lead to contribute to deciding the backend as well as frontend system architecture for products used by consumers, retailers, and other stakeholders.
• Stay informed about the product strategy; evaluate the feasibility of solutions proposed by PMs, estimate development effort, and help in planning the roadmap and individual features.
• Building the blocks of the entire system across multiple products on your own from the ground up with the freedom to try new things.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other developers to meet the timelines.
• Built systems that scale through software, contributing to the architecture and design.

What we would like to see in you

• 2-4 years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer who has owned the entire stack of a product or a major module.
• Strong programming expertise in any of the JavaScript frameworks like NodeJS, ExpressJs, or Python frameworks like Django.
• Strong computer science fundamentals in OOPs, DS algorithm design and time complexity analysis.
• Experience in writing REST APIs
• Good understanding of relational databases and networking systems.
• Proficiency with at least one Object Oriented language(e.g Java, Python)
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to work in an unstructured environment
• High enthusiasm and self-drive to build systems from the ground up.
