Full-Stack Developer (Angular & Node.js) - Contract-Based

Role Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our team for a high-impact, 6-month contract engagement. This is an onsite, contract-based role based in Andheri, Mumbai. You will be responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining robust web applications, contributing directly to our core product architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using Angular and Node.js.
• Architect and build modular backend services, secure RESTful APIs, and manage database schemas.
• Collaborate with the internal product team to deliver new features and optimize existing workflows.
• Manage complex database query optimization and indexing for high availability.
• Maintain clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience: 6–8+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Frontend Stack: Strong proficiency with Angular, including component architecture, RxJS, and state management.
• Backend Stack: Strong backend experience with Node.js (Express/NestJS or similar framework) and robust REST API design.
• Languages: Solid command of JavaScript and TypeScript across the entire stack.
• Database & Search: Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (including schema design and query optimization) and Elasticsearch (indexing, querying, and performance tuning).
• Devops & Security: Sound understanding of security best practices (especially important in a fintech/PE context), alongside familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern testing practices.
• Soft Skills: Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and excellent problem-solving skills.

Contract Details:

• Type: Onsite, Contract-based (6 Months, extendable).
• Budget: 90k / Months
• Location: Andheri, Mumbai. (Open exclusively to Mumbai-based candidates as no relocation assistance will be provided).

Responsibilities: -

• Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.

• Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to
front-end requests.

• Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.

• Designing customer-facing UI and Front-end services for various business
processes.

• Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and
efficient code.

• Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and
storage solutions.

• Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support.

• Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as
preparing reports.

• Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and
technologies.

• Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Front-end development.

Required Skills and Professional Expertise:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar.

• Proven hands-on- experience on Software Development.

• At least one year of experience in Angular js.

• Hands-on-experience in designing application using  Angular js, HTML, CSS, Javascript.

• Profound insights of Angular (Class loading, Memory Management,
Transaction Management etc.)

• Experience in developing Web applications using at least one popular web
framework (MVC)

• Experience with test-driven development.

• Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

• Availability to resolve urgent web application issues outside of business hours.

• Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology.
• Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.
• Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.
• Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.
• Champions a structured approach to business application solutions.
• Directly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.
• Assures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.
• Influences changes to standards when necessary.
• Assists domain architecture team on solutions management and timing of financial spend for application solutions.
• Supports the architectural aspects of all application projects in peer IT portfolios.
• Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
• Develops and executes solutions which further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work.
• Provides analysis of security protection technologies as necessary.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI development
• Work with other developers and designers to ensure that the website is functional and visually appealing.
• Good team player.
• Liaise with the client to gauge their needs and expectations.
• Plan the layout and Architecture of the website.

• 2-5 years of experience developing web applications with modern JavaScript programming frameworks, tooling, and libraries.
• Experience working with Angular or React.js JavaScript Framework.
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and related web technologies.
• Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript and tooling (e.g., Angular, React, Redux, Node).
• Experience with API integration and development.
• Experience developing reusable components.
• Proven experience in understanding complex user needs with multiple stakeholders and providing practical solutions that can work in production.
• Experience working on mobile apps is a plus.
