Datacultr is a Platform as a Service that allows consumer lending companies to significantly reduce their risk on 'New to Credit' customers. Datacultr allows the lender to give out unsecured loans, at a lower risk, by allowing borrowers to present their newly purchased or existing Smartphone as collateral. We are live in India, South-East Asia, Kenya, Tanzania & LATAM, thus far over our clients have secured over 800k loans on the platform in the last 12 months, amounting to a loan value of around US$92Mn. SALARY PACKAGE – Depends upon the skillset and interview NOTICE PERIOD – Can join at the earliest About Role We are looking for Quality Assurance Engineer who can manage end to end testing cycle and support in testing responsibilities.

Key Responsibility

 Hands-on experience with Functional, Performance, Scalability and Reliability Testing

 Ability to test, validate and certify high volume datasets

 Experience in API testing and integration testing is must.

 Exposure on tools like POSTMAN is mandatory.

 Exposure to Cypress is a plus

 Experience in Report Testing (charts, Table, Graphs or any other Visualization) will be a plus

 Experience in Android Testing

 Provide regular reports on testing and resolution status, including metrics

 Review test strategy, test plans and test cases/scenarios for each platforms

 Using Test Management tools will be a plus.

 Experience in agile, managing the QA team with agile mindset, working across multiple projects having different scrum teams, helping the team transition to agile, provide advice on challenging situations  Ensuring the teams (Scrum Teams) implement and follow best practices to prevent defects

 Supervise QA team and the quality assurance process; this includes setting and communicating priorities, ensuring deadlines are met, and reviewing staff tasks and performance, managing complete staff hiring (taking tests and interviews) and onboarding activities for new hires in QA team.

Key Requirement -

 At least 2+ years Years of experience in QA

 Presently working in a CMM Level 5 organization or an ISO 27001 certified organization

 Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards

 Excellent experience in manual and automation testing skills  Have good people management skills

Manual Tester:

Mandatory Skills:

• Around 3-6 years experience in Manual testing complex applications
• Should be able to follow the defined test plan/strategy and perform test execution and report defects/track to closure
• Should be able to grasp the complex business domain fast and be agile in supporting the Product releases
• Experience using at least one defect management tool – JIRA, HP ALM, ADO etc.
• Software lifecycle management skills: understand the application development tasks and plan testing

Responsibilities

1-Should have played a vital role in Setting up Automation Frameworks, Processes, and Standards.

2-Expert proficiency in automation scripting using Java or other scripting languages.

3-Experience in using automation tools like Selenium/Webdriver, Sikuli, Junit/JMeter, etc.

4-Good expertise in System, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Ad-Hoc, Browser Compatibility, and Interface testing.

5-Prepare test case for Functional, Non-Functional, Integration and Usability, UI.

6-Experienced with a defect and bug tracking tools like Bugzilla, JIRA, etc.

7-Hands on experience in Test Planning, Test designing, and Test Execution, Defect Tracking & Defect Reporting.

8-Experience working in an agile development environment and scrum methodologies.

9- Involvement in setting up Test Environments, Requirements Management, Requirement Analysis.

10-Good understanding of database.

11-Should have experience in API testing.

12- Should have knowledge of payment gateway testing.

13- Good Knowledge of Performance Testing, Regression Testing, DataBase testing, Android Testing.

Qualifications

Education: B.E/B.Tech BCA/MCA

• Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.
• Preparation of test data and execution of test cases (including functional, system, regression, performance, API and database layer etc.)
• Identifies appropriate processes, parameters, functions, and data to test and validate; parameters may include general function, the validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Lead and participate in test case reviews with Business, Developers, other team members
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• When a product does not perform within specifications, reporting defects to programmers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates.
• Identifies, logs, and recreates error codes, bugs, and defects.
• Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
• Investigate production issues
• Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to product requirements and within established guidelines.

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

• Proven 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Excellent communication skills

• Strong organizational skills.

• 3-7 years of hands on experience in mobile app testing - iOS / Android 
• Mobile automation expertise (iOS, Android) using Appium. 
• Experience having automated in an Agile environment. 
• Experience with issue tracking tool (JIRA) and reporting tools. 
• Experience with source code management and build tools - Git, SVN, Maven, Gradle 
• Experience in using Charles Tool / Fiddler 
• Programming language: Java 
• Automation tool: Selenium, Appium 
• Others: Jira, GIT, Maven, Gradle, Bamboo, TestNG 

• Experience working and automating in REST APIs based WS environment. 
• Strong knowledge on current automation trends. 
• Knowledge of Performance testing on mobile applications. 
• Experience with continuous integration using bamboo/Jenkins
