Android Security Analyst

Review Criteria:

Mandatory:

• Strong UAT / Functional Test Lead Profiles
• Must have minimum 7 years of overall testing experience, with at least 3 years of recent UAT experience, primarily in manual testing for large enterprise or government project
• Must have worked on minimum 2 national-level e-Governance, public sector, enterprise, or marketplace projects in a UAT lead or ownership role
• Must have 3+ years of team handling experience, leading 7–8 QA/UAT members, including task assignment, review, mentoring, and delivery ownership
• Must have complete ownership of UAT activities, including UAT planning, execution, acceptance sign-off, defect management, retesting, and regression cycles.
• Must have strong hands-on manual testing experience, with the ability to create test scenarios and test cases from BRDs, user stories, functional documents, and Figma/UI screens.
• Must be able to understand HLD/LLD documents and API specifications and perform manual API testing based on business logic.
• Must have BE/BTech/MTech/MBA (BSc/BCA alone is not acceptable; with Bsc/BCA candidates must have a relevant postgraduate degree MCA/MTech)

Preferred:

• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent is preferred

Ideal Candidate:

• 8 + years’ experience in UAT, with at least 2 National-level e-Governance solutions / Enterprise platforms / Marketplace projects.
• Proficiency in test planning, execution oversight, acceptance criteria definition, defect triage, regression cycle management.
• Proficient in understanding business requirements by going through BRDs, User Stories, Figma screens to define test scenarios and test cases.
• Ability to analyze high level and low-level design documents, API specifications to identify the business logic developed and create test cases to test the APIs.
• Hands-on experience of defining high quality test scenarios, test cases with ability to review and guide the test team members in doing the same.
• Education/Certifications: B.E./ B.Tech. / MTech/ MCA/ MS (Computer Science/IT)/ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent required.

About the role

Poshmark is seeking a Lead Software QA Engineer to join the Quality Assurance team. You will design, develop, drive, and deliver high-level test strategies, methodologies, and take a hands-on approach to see that they are implemented timely and efficiently. You will partner with our team to help us build out our QA functions and streamline our manual testing, while maintaining close liaison with other departments on technical matters. Responsibilities

• Conduct manual QA testing of new and existing products, performance and end to end product for Poshmark's mobile applications (iOS & Android) as well as Web application and Cloud Platform
• Develop test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements and user stories
• Identify and write bug reports
• Ability to analyze potential issue and do root cause analysis and assign issue to the right development team
• Follow up with Engineering and Product team members to see bug fixes through completion
• Review bug descriptions, functional requirements, and design documents, incorporating this information into test plans and test cases
• Ability to work with multiple projects at once and across all platforms
• Ability to understand complex system design and implementation to drive in-depth QA tasks
• Ability to lead a small team within a focused area and break down complex tasks into manageable goals for junior team members
• Lead ongoing efforts across QA organization and be the voice of quality for the organization

6-Month Accomplishments

• Able to contribute to develop new test cases, test scenarios
• Run and perform regular regression tests and debug/fix possible issues

Qualifications:

• 6 to 9 years of software testing experience in mobile (iOS and android) and desktop environments
• Experience in leading a team and handling projects
• Experience with bug tracking software - experience with JIRA preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
• Aptitude to learn quickly and effectively
• Strong time management and prioritization skills

Experience: Mobile testing (both Android & iOS).

Technical Skills:

Strong in debugging.

Well-versed with API level validation from logs.

Familiar with database-level validation and queries.

Experience in backend testing and understanding of service interactions.

Testing Coverage:

Capable of designing end-to-end test cases.

Strong in negative, edge-case, and performance scenarios coverage.

Process Knowledge:

Familiar with Agile ceremonies (Grooming, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and QA roles and responsibilities.

Can contribute effectively in bug triage and RCA discussions.

Manual Tester:

Mandatory Skills:

• Around 3-6 years experience in Manual testing complex applications
• Should be able to follow the defined test plan/strategy and perform test execution and report defects/track to closure
• Should be able to grasp the complex business domain fast and be agile in supporting the Product releases
• Experience using at least one defect management tool – JIRA, HP ALM, ADO etc.
• Software lifecycle management skills: understand the application development tasks and plan testing

• Strong understanding of all of any of the following SAP Modules - FICO, HCM, MM, SD, CAR & EWM 
• Should be aware of the business processes, integrations & implementations using above SAP modules
• Hands-on experience in Functional Testing, Integration testing & E2E testing of these SAP Applications  (3-5 years)
• Good understanding of Testing Processes and releases
• Strong Debugging skills
• Good communication skills, and Problem Solving skills
• Good at DB & SQL
• Good Programming Skills (Preferably)
• Any experience with SAP Test Automation using tools like Microfocus or Tricentis (Preferably)
