Android Developer

We are looking for an Android developer- CTO responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

·       BS/MS degree in CS/EE
·       2-6 years of proven software development experience and proven working experience in Android app development
·       Having published at least one original Android app is a definite plus
·       Experience with Android SDK (experience in AndroidTV framework will be a plus)
·       Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
·       Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
·       Experience with networking technologies
·       Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
·       Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience building mobile applications.
• Proficient with React Native.
• Experience in developing and delivering large scale Android and iOS mobile applications
via React-Native.
• Ability to work through new and complex React Native issues and contribute to libraries
as needed.
• Engineers who are obsessed with optimizations and are ready to go the extra mile to
deliver the best app experience to the customers.
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax and
Typescript.
• Experience in writing unit testing code with libraries like Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, Mocha,
etc.
• Experience in at least one native language, Android or iOS(Swift/Objective C).
• Good knowledge of monitoring and tracking down app crashes and bugs using advanced
tools.
• Worked in a startup environment with high levels of ownership and commitment.
