Responsibilities

1. Design and implement backend infrastructure and APIs.
2. Write high-quality, robust, readable, and scalable code.
3. Build responsive, robust, and optimized applications.

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of Django, Celery, and Redis.
2. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Strong Engineering Manager / Lead Profiles

Mandatory (Experience 1) - Must have 8+ years of overall Software Engineering/Development experience

Mandatory (Experience 2) - Must have 3+ years of experience as Engineering Manager / Team Lead role, with ownership of technical direction, delivery, and people management

Mandatory (Experience 3) - Must have hands-on Backend development experience using Python or Java, with frameworks such as FastAPI / Django / Spring / Express (Node.js)

Mandatory (Experience 4) - Must have Frontend development exposure using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Mandatory (Experience 5) - Must have experience designing and building APIs, services, and integrations, including system design, PR reviews, and architectural decision-making.

Mandatory (Experience 6) - Must have experience leading engineers end-to-end – mentoring, code reviews, execution planning, and improving team productivity/quality

Mandatory (Company) - Must be from Product Companies / Startups (early to growth stage), B2B SaaS + Fintech industry is highly preferred

Mandatory (Note) - This role will be 80% team management and 20% IC (hands on coding required)

 ● Architect, design, test, implement, deploy, monitor and maintain end-to-end backend

 services. You build it, you own it.

 ● Regularly aligning your team’s vision and roadmap with the target architecture within your

 domain and to ensure the success of complex multi domain initiatives.

 What Makes You a Great Fit

 ● 5 years of proven work experience as a Backend Python Engineer

 ● Understanding of software engineering fundamentals OOPS, SOLID, etc.)

 ● Hands-on experience with Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn,

 Lang chain/LLamaIndex etc.

 ● Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, Keras, being

 proficient in Python

 ● Hands-on Experience with frameworks such as Django or FastAPI or Flask

 ● Hands-on experience with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis and BigQuery (or equivalents)

 ● Extensive experience integrating with or creating REST APIs

 ● Experience with creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines- we use GitHub Actions.

 ● Experience with event-driven architectures like Kafka, RabbitMq or equivalents.

 ● Knowledge about:

 o LLMs

 o Vector stores/databases

 o PromptEngineering

 o Embeddings and their implementations

 ● Somehands-onexperience in implementations of the above ML/AI will be preferred

 ● Experience with GCP/AWS services.

Responsibilities of the PHP Developer Role:

• Proficient in Laravel or other similar framework
• Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc.
• Knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services.
• A senior member of a team responsible for the development of the back office system.
• Write code to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way.
• Ensure that code is well structured and documented in best practice.
• Assist in writing development specs to enhance the system and to allow for more efficient work practices.
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Create a test environment and roll out rigorous user testing practices.
• Assist senior management in evaluating and prioritizing system enhancements.
