We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer who can work independently on data pipeline development, troubleshooting, and optimisation tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with Databricks, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. You will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable data workflows, supporting analytical teams, and ensuring high-quality, secure, and accessible data across the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build, optimise, and troubleshoot SQL queries, transformations, and Databricks data processes.
• Work with large datasets to deliver efficient, reliable, and high-performing data solutions.
• Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to support data requirements.

• Monitor pipeline performance, diagnose issues, and implement improvements.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role (3+ years).
• Strong SQL skills with experience writing and optimising complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering tasks.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data modelling, and pipeline orchestration.
• Familiarity with Power BI and data integration with BI tools.

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and security test plans for applications and APIs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on Security & Vulnerability Testing.
• In-depth knowledge of penetration testing tools and security frameworks.
• Experience with automated security testing in CI/CD environments (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript for test automation.
