About the role

We are looking for talented Senior Backend Engineers (5+ years of experience) to join our team and take ownership of different parts of our stack. You will be working alongside a team of Engineers locally and directly with the U.S. Engineering team on all aspects of product/application development. You will leverage your experiences and abilities to inform decisions across product development and technology. You will help us build the foundation of our 2nd Headquarters in Pune: its culture, its processes, and its practices. There are a ton of interesting problems to solve, so come hungry. What Success Looks Like

• You write, review and ship code in production. Your employer or client's success depends on the software you build
• You use Generative AI tools on a daily basis to enhance the quality and efficacy of your software and non-software deliverables

Areas of Ownership

Required Technical Experience (MUST HAVE):

• Expertise in Python -
• Deep hands-on experience with Terraform -
• Proficiency in Kubernetes -
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP strongly preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable) -

Additional experience with some of the following:

• Backend Frameworks and Technologies (Node.js, NuxtJS, Express.js)
• Programming languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C++, Go)
• RPCs (REST, gRPC or GraphQL)
• Databases (SQL, NoSQL, Postgres, MongoDB, or Firebase)
• CI/CD (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab or similar)
• Source code versioning tools such as Git or Perforce
• Microservices architecture

Who we are: Our Co-Founder and CTO is a Serial Gen AI Inventor who grew up in Pune, India, is a BITS Pilani graduate, and worked at NVIDIA's Pune office for 6 years. There, he was promoted 5 times in 6 years and was transferred to the NVIDIA Headquarters in Santa Clara, California. After making significant contributions to NVIDIA, he proceeded to attend Harvard for his dual Masters in Engineering and MBA from HBS. • 8 - 12 years of professional experience in .Net Framework 2.0/3.5/4.0/4.5 (C#, ASP.Net) and ADO.Net. Strong knowledge of software development, debugging and deployment tools Knowledge and experience of SQL Server (Any version). 
• Knowledge of Versioning tools. Strong experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. 
• Should have Good Problem Solving and Analytical Skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to handle individual projects as well as team. 
• Understanding of MVC, WCF, WPF and any mobile technology – beneficial Ability to learn new technology in a short period.

• Strong working knowledge of Typescript, MongoDB, MySQL, Express

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, ES6

• Hands-on experience in React JS

• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3

• Strong understanding of NodeJS fundamentals

• Knowledge and experience working with PostgreSQL is a major plus

• Experience with ORM libraries

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of tools like Git, GitHub, JIRA, Cucumber, Jasmine, and others that make coding more efficient and easier to share
• Familiarity of working in either the AWS Cloud or Azure including Docker + Kubernetes based microservice deployment.

• Possess strong domain knowledge - Digital Analytics (Google Analytics, App Analytics (Firebase/AppsFlyer/Branch/MixPanel), CRO, Media Analytics 

• Ability to handle Google Analytics clients end-to-end  

• Contribute to building effective process management, mentoring teammates, reducing product & execution inefficiencies 

• Be responsible for day-to-day Google Analytics operations and performance of client accounts, requiring interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.   

• Own, manage and grow digital analytics strategies for clients.   

• Be responsible for all regular (and ad hoc) reporting and analysis of digital activity providing crucial insights, and effectively communicating this to the client.
