Founding Engineer – Full Stack

About the Role

Shava Studios is hiring a Founding Engineer to build and scale AI-native software products from the ground up.

You’ll work across the full stack—frontend, backend, AI integrations, and real-time systems—while playing a key role in shaping our architecture and engineering culture. We value demonstrated ability, strong fundamentals, and ownership over years of experience.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship full-stack features end-to-end.
• Design scalable APIs, backend services, and data models.
• Build and integrate LLM and AI-agent capabilities.
• Develop reliable real-time and asynchronous systems.
• Own third-party integrations, authentication, security, and performance.
• Maintain high standards for testing, code quality, and system reliability.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction.
• Mentor engineers and help raise the engineering bar as the team grows.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience building production-grade full-stack applications.
• Hands-on experience with React/Next.js, TypeScript, and Python/FastAPI or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of system design, APIs, databases, and scalable backend systems.
• Experience with or strong interest in LLMs, GenAI, and AI-agent systems.
• Familiarity with real-time or asynchronous systems such as WebSockets, Redis, Celery, or RabbitMQ is a plus.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently take features from idea to production.
• Good technical communication and problem-solving skills.

You will:

. Part of a Global test management team working in the Regulatory reporting domain.

. Collaborate with a wide range of colleagues all over the technology and business domain.

Have a good knowledge about testing concepts- including but not limited to understanding

business requirement, defining test scope, ability to collaborate with business/automation

stakeholders and executing tests, bug/defect tracking and closure.

. Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise to bridge functional requirements and technical solution.

. Strong working knowledge of various test types including white-box, black-box,

positive/negative, edge cases, etc.

. Solid test design skills, test case writing, automation, and analysis.

. Strong working knowledge of various test phases including functional, integration and

Regression.

. Strong working experience in running the test suite, investigating the failures and can fix or get it fixed, raise bugs, etc.

. Work closely with Dev and Business Analyst team to understand the functional requirements.

. Actively participate in squad ceremonies Sprint Refinements, Planning, Retrospective and

daily standups.

. Ability to learn new things and exhibit innovative testing approach.

. Strong ability and problem-solving Skills.

You must have:

. Ability to test applications thoroughly before deployment to ensure that they are free of

errors.

. 2-8 years 'experience in test automation or feature development (programming experience)

. Should be able to work with geographically dispersed Dev & QA team in a very dynamic,

rapidly evolving, and high pressure, high visibility project setting.

. Experience of working in a fast-paced Agile framework.

. Ability to challenge status quo and think of out-of-the box solutions to existing problems.

. Excellent problem-solving skills.

. Knowledge of trade lifecycle. product types/asset class types.

. Willingness to guide fellow team members in learning new technologies.

. Understanding of DevOps for complex systems

. Knowledge of Transaction Reporting, OTC Derivatives, Post Trade processing activities.

. Experience with continuous deployment tools and practices

Job Title: Finance & Accounts Manager

Reports To: Director

Location: Navi Mumbai

Industry: Doors manufacturing or Real Estate only

Experience Required: 6–10 Years

Key Responsibilities

 Oversee and manage the end-to-end accounting and financial operations across

multiple group companies.

 Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business growth.

 Manage asset accounting, capitalization, depreciation schedules, and asset audits.

 Ensure accurate and timely GST, TDS, and income tax filings, along with compliance to all statutory requirements.

 Supervise accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation processes.

 Review and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.

 Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities for audits, assessments, and regulatory matters.

 Implement and maintain strong internal controls, accounting systems, and process documentation.

 Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting to support cost optimization and profitability.

 Manage fund flow, working capital, and vendor payment planning.

 Support management in investment planning, risk management, and long-term financial strategy.

Key Skills & Requirements

 CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred.

 6–10 years of hands-on experience in finance and accounting management, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-company setup.

 Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, PF/ESIC compliance, and other statutory regulations.

 Expertise in financial budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

 Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.

 Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.

 Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure data integrity.

 Strong communication skills and experience coordinating with auditors and senior management.

Requirements:

• Experience in Enterprise Java building restful microservices
• Strong Exposure to any of the Java Enterprise frameworks such as Spring, Vert. x, Quarkus or others
• Good exposure to databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc
• Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities along with excellent communication skills.
• Any exposure to UI programming using REACT JS or AngularJS is a plus
• Preferred candidate who can join in 15 days or max 30 days.
