About the Role

We are looking for an Operations Associate to join our team at StoryXpress. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ensuring smooth operational workflows, managing client interactions, and maintaining high-quality standards in a dynamic environment. If you're a quick learner, a good communicator, and someone who doesn't always need instructions, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Account Management: Facilitate seamless client onboarding processes by gathering requirements, setting expectations, and maintaining clear communication channels.
• Client Delivery Management: Oversee and execute video servicing projects, ensuring deliverables are produced accurately and delivered on schedule.
• Quality Control: Conduct rigorous quality checks on team outputs, ensuring all deliverables meet client standards and company guidelines.
• Tracking & Reporting: Regularly manage tracking and reporting activities for key clients, including Fortune 500 companies.
• Support Operations: Handle support inbox queries - manage and resolve cancellation, refund queries, and disputes efficiently, including optimizing processes wherever possible.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate effectively with vendors to ensure smooth collaboration and timely service delivery. Manage ongoing communication, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships to support operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: 0-2 years in e-commerce content, media operations, B2B client servicing, or a related field.
• Mindset: Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and reporting tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for client and vendor interactions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.

Brownie Points

• Experience with no/low-code automation tools like Zapier and/or Microsoft Power Automate.
• Experience with Prompt Engineering and Googling, in general.

You’ll thrive as a Front End Developer at StoryXpress if you:

• Have a good understanding of the core fundamentals of JavaScript
• Have 2+ years designing and implementing rich front-end experiences in React
• Are an expert in web technologies ( HTML5 | CSS3 | ES6 )
• Possess a thorough understanding of the MVC principle and JS design patterns
• Have experience with building user interfaces consuming data from REST APIs

• Having a proactive customer support approach
• Testing product features as assigned
• Build & strengthen customer relationships
• Lead scoring and qualification
• Manage incoming chats, emails and handle appropriate follow-up calls and emails

The creativity and intelligence are much more essential to us than the experience with our stack.Thus, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment, in order to strive for excellence!

Building and scaling web products that directly impact our customers or partners.

Translate several RESTful data sources to be used in a front-end application.

Dig into bugs and feature requests.

Monitor reliability and performance through dashboards and tools to ensure availability.

Help other engineers on the team and across StoryXpress.

Work with our team to engineer new growth initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Skills: Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, Express.js, MySQL, Git, Go
• Proficiency JavaScript developer.
• Should have a good understanding of micro-server architecture and REST API.
• Thorough understanding of MVC principles and JS design patterns. *Node.js, Express.js, MySQL should be thoroughly worked upon
• GIT, GitOps and standard versioning management tools should be known.
• Knowledge of User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
