Simpli Namdhari's is a 100% vegetarian omnichannel retail chain of 26 stores in Bangalore and 1 in Hyderabad, India. Simpli Namdhari's strength is its control of the value chain – it is a fully backward integrated retailer which gives it the added advantage to offer a unique assortment of products and home-developed food recipes for on and off-premise consumption. Over 70% of products that make up a consumer's shopping basket are available at the stores where Namdhari's integrates backward from a value chain perspective to deliver premium products at reasonable price points. Leveraging the Group's capabilities & expertise in farming, the stores offer a comprehensive range of fresh fruits & vegetables, a residue-free range of staples, single-origin dairy products, in-house bakery, imported dry fruits, healthy snacks and more. The company operates in two store formats – 1) Simpli Namdhari's – A large format experience center that houses ‘residue-free' & ‘safe for consumption' groceries, organic and FMCG items, in addition to an in-house live kitchen - Simpli Good Food where a fresh & delectable range of vegetarian cuisines are prepared using the company's own produce. 2) Namdhari's Fresh – a premium greengrocer & relatively small format convenience store that houses groceries & fresh produce from the company's own farm. To become a holistic ‘seed to plate' enterprise, the company grows fresh, organic, and residue-free fruits and vegetables on its farm in Bidadi, Karnataka
