Aura is a state-of-the-art platform for Web3 gaming. We cater to gamers as well as gaming studios and offer a host of features (check auranft.co) at Aura, all aimed at simplifying and enhancing the user experience in web3. 

We’ve just launched 100+ games on our marketplace that’s built on Polygon, Ethereum and Binance blockchains and have games like Metasoccer, ZedRun, Decentral Games on board, all belonging to different gaming genres like Digital Horse Racing, Trading Cards, PvP, MMORPG and more.

Role and Responsibilities

• Have the ability to regularly write high quality, authentic long-form content such as blogs, articles and case studies about web3 games, trends & new updates. It needs to be well-researched, fact-checked, crisp and engaging.
• Build a hub of reading material for the 100+ games on Aura. 
• Work with the marketing team under the guidance of the marketing head and senior team members.
• Be able to simplify web3 gaming terms, gameplays, and put them across in a way that is easy and entertaining to read.
• Proofread and edit every content piece before taking it live.
• Update gaming content as and when the trends change, and new updates from existing games’ releases, periodically.
• Create SEO optimised content with relevant keywords in collaboration with our growth hacker.
• Coordinate with the designers to illustrate your content.
• Important note: You often have to play the web3 games available on our marketplace and write content based on that.

What do you need to apply for this position?

Developing a state-of-the-art storefront customised to the community and a user-friendly interface to unlock the digital growth of companies in the gaming space by leveraging the power of NFTs. Requirements:

• Create compelling content, visuals, and messaging for campaigns.
• Lay the foundation for a consistent brand voice and tone, content strategy, and roadmap for regular content execution.
• Continually optimise strategy and content, pull analytic reports showing data on engagement, reach, conversion and deliverables, analyse strategy & content performance, communicate it to the key stakeholders and optimise based on the findings.
• Craft and maintain technical write-ups and educational content on platforms like medium (both long and short form) to help bridge any gaps in understanding.
• Develop editorial calendars and ensure deadlines are met
• Create and oversee the development of creative marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
• Utilize your expertise in digital marketing to plan, optimize, and manage online advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter, and others.
• Analyze campaign performance, gather insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve marketing effectiveness.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to identify new opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and influencers.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 4+ years of proven experience in a marketing role with a track record of successful campaigns and team management.
• Strong understanding of both content strategy, creative campaign development and digital distribution channels.
• Proficiency in using digital marketing tools, including Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and Twitter Ads.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Creative thinker with the ability to identify and act on new opportunities.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in marketing.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Proficient understanding of security principles
• Understanding of “session management” in a distributed server environment

• Own your ship - Be responsible to build framework components, own the development process and drive the development cycle to improve transparency and productivity across the team.

What are we looking for:

• 2+ years of experience in Frontend Engineering building scalable web applications: Experience in web3/fintech is not a mandate to apply. You learn as you go!
• You should be good at your game: Detailed oriented and have a thorough knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 & hands-on experience with either of VueJS, Angular, React OR similar.
• You have a strong bias for action: You seek problems. If you see one, you find the solution. If you have one, you should be already building it. If it fails, you move to the next!
• You want to grow but together: You want to learn and master new skills by tackling new problems with the team
