Project Overview
Metastar Media Pvt. Ltd. Is an innovative culture tech company that has developed “Artisteverse” a platform that revolutionizes the way fans engage with artistes in the worlds of dance, music and visual arts. Our platform connects artistes’ fanbases with their artiste, offering unique experiences, exclusive content, and interactive features.
We are looking for a talented and passionate UI/UX Expert to join our team and help design an intuitive, engaging, and visually striking mobile experience in the culture-tech space.
Eligibility:
- 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in mobile app design, digital media and entertainment;
- Understanding of contemporary UX and UI with focus on user engagement design
- Experience in UX Design of software for large and/or complex systems
- Proficient in design software: Adobe XD, Figma and other wireframing softwares/tools
Responsibilities:
· Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop low wireframes, that outline the app’s structure and interaction model.
· UX Design : Structuring of content, copy for application, UX wireframing
· UI Design: Create design and interface prototypes, and user flows
· Work closely with the internal tech and business team to align with the overall vision.
· Ideate and design interactive features that foster engagement and interactions
· Designs that are optimized for performance, responsive, and accessible across different mobile devices and screen sizes.

- Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
- Write well-structured, efficient, and scalable TypeScript code.
- Design and manage relational databases with PostgreSQL.
- Implement caching strategies using Redis.
- Create and manage scheduled tasks using cron jobs.
- Ensure the security and integrity of applications by implementing best security practices.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
- Document APIs using Swagger for clear and concise API documentation.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Write and maintain test cases using testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest) to ensure code quality.
- Deploy and manage applications using AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, and other cloud technologies.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure we are using the best tools and practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-3 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js.
- Strong experience with TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with Redis for caching and session management.
- Familiarity with cron jobs for task scheduling.
- Knowledge of best security practices for web applications.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and understanding of common challenges in e-commerce backend development.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, and RDS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with Swagger for API documentation.
- Experience writing and running test cases using testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with serverless architecture.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
