READ THE JD CAREFULLY. THERE IS A HIDDEN CLUE IN IT!
We are currently just a team of engineers and marketers. Though we have millions of users, we haven't really focused much on design, and have been making do with online templates and freelancers. We want to hire someone full-time for this.
It is crucial that you know how to design as well as develop static webpages.
Apart from the usual roles and responsibilities, a few points to bear in mind:
- UX is as important to us as UI. Our assessment product is used by teenagers as well as senior recruiters
- You must have had experience developing responsive web apps as many of our users use us on the mobile
- When you apply, insert the word toggle in your responses so that we know you have read this
Must-have:
- Minimum 2 years of design + development experience
- Experience designing web apps
- Figma Skills
- Adobe Illustrator Skills
- Tailwind CSS
Good-to-have:
- Adobe Photoshop Skills
- Adobe AfterEffects Skills
Equip ( https://equip.co ) helps recruiters screen candidates across skills with its automated assessments.
Our churn is currently at 0%. So, the Product is clearly awesome! Your job is to get users to discover and appreciate its awesomeness.
We are currently experimenting with multiple GTM channels including LinkedIn & Google Ads, Content Marketing, Partnerships, etc. We are also implementing strategies for the long-term like SEO. We are looking for someone who can conduct and scale more such experiments and double down on what works best.
Required Skills/Experience
- At least 3 years of Product Marketing experience at a B2B SaaS startup
- Experience with paid marketing tools like LinkedIn & Google Ads
- Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot and SEO tools like Semrush
- Experience managing individuals to get marketing collateral, blog content, etc
2. You like optimising browser performance using core JS
3. You like improving page load and render times on web apps
4. You really empathise with end users and are constantly thinking of UI/UX as you develop stuff on the front-end
Our ideal candidate is someone who checks all boxes. We own two products https://equip.co and https://autoproctor.co Between them, we have around 200K MAUs. We are looking for someone who can help improve the UI/UX of the former, and the performance of the latter.
We are a product-led company and virtually anything you want to know about the company and the product are available on the websites linked to above.
A typical task would look something like this:
1. Use web workers to move AutoProctor's face detection algorithm away from the main UI thread
2. Build a dashboard for recruiters where they can sort and filter results across multiple assessments
tl;dr: Ensure there are no 500's, virtually no 502's, detailed 400's and lots and lots of 200's!
We facilitate entire colleges and large companies around the world to conduct proctored, online assessments with high concurrency. We also roll out features at a rapid pace. Your job will be to ensure that users can continue to use us, as features get deployed. Students and candidates who face a website issue in the middle of a test get furious very easily. Further, we don't have a "Customer Success" team. So, your role will be critical to ensuring that everything runs smoothly!
We won't insult your intelligence by saying that you need to know about REST APIs and that you must help drive engineering excellence. If you don't know that already, you shouldn't apply to this job!
We are a tiny, inexperienced team that has achieved a lot of traction due to our product's timing. We are looking for someone who has worked in established setups so that they can instill some discipline.
Must-have skills:
- Flask & SQLAlchemy
- PostgreSQL
- AWS, git, CI/CD
Good-to-have:
- ReactJS
- Experience leading a team
- Computer-science background in college
If you are the kind who likes to dabble in architecting disparate systems, obsesses over uptime and is constantly thinking of whether you should have just used POST instead of PATCH, you are likely a great fit.
