About the Product
Fintech Primitives(FP) is an API platform that provides solutions to the problem statements of the Indian Mutual Fund domain. The APIs handle domain, regulatory, and technical complexities to enable customers to build different use cases in a short time. Check here to know what our customers are building using FP APIs.
Job Description
Your Role -
- Responsible for providing technical solutions to existing and prospective Fintech and Enterprise customers throughout the implementation stage of the onboarding cycle.
- Ensure new customers are onboarded with the right mix of products. Existing customers can design their product using an appropriate mix of FP products.
- You will become an SME for all products and assets of Cybrilla and collaborate with the product team to improve the product better.
- Guide and train clients or partners to help them understand product technical capabilities to add business value.
- Perform R&D with third parties APIs or other products to guide the product team to improve products for better client experience.
- Participate in Product demos and seek clarifications, test features released by the product team from clients lens.
- Willing to debug and troubleshoot advanced technical issues and help internal teams whenever required.
- Willing to think outside the box, prototype solutions if possible and present it to teams internally that could be taken up as product enhancements.
Your Skills and Experience
Must have skills -
- At Least 4+ years of experience in backend engineering / solutions engineering.
- Strong understanding Javascript, API (Strong skills).
- Database technologies MySQL.
- Significant experience in client facing roles.
Good to have skills -
- Experience in automation is welcomed.
- Any experience in data migration activity is welcomed.
- Have worked on ETL projects.

About the team
FPApp is a hosted UI platform to build, operate and invest in Indian wealth management instruments. Our vision is to create products for all user personas in the ecosystem, be it an investor, distributor, business team, operation, or support.
We are looking for minds that have a knack for understanding user problems, simplifying investment journeys and building meaningful products!
Responsibilities
- Own implementation of frontend functional workflows and applications for Fintech ecosystem.
- Analyse problem statements and design technical solutions which may involve building client-side API integrations or server side business logic.
- Ensure enterprise level scalability, reliability and security standards for front end workflows and applications.
- Continuously evolve ways of designing for better user experience and lead the implementation of same.
Requirements
Technical Skills
Frontend
- Hands-on experience on Typescript is a must
- Deep Expertise in Javascript - including manipulating DOM, acquaintance with newer specifications of ECMAScript
- Understanding of Javascript Tooling - Build Tools, Lint Tools, Tree Shaking. Must have basic understanding of Babel, Webpack etc.,
- Hands on Experience in breaking complex UI Components into small reusable components
- Hands on Experience in using state management using Redux and understanding of React Context
- Understanding of Patterns in Javascript
Backend
- Strong understanding of SQL.
- Hands-on experience in Node.js Applications.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Java would be a value add.
- Extensive background in designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software.
General
- 8+ years of experience in building web and responsive apps in a customer-facing or B2B SaaS environment
- Interest in engaging with latest technologies and evaluating strategies to keep technology stack up to date
- Experience mentoring junior engineers in all aspects of planning, development and testing
- Demonstrable experience architecting scalable and cost-effective technical solutions to solve business goals
- Understanding of Git - Merging, Basing etc.,
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines - one of Github Workflows, Gitlab CI or anything else
- Experience with hosting in any of the cloud hosting providers

Your Career
You will join the highly skilled team who are responsible for delivering Cybrilla’s Fintech Primitives services. You represent the company for the world outside, it’s that simple! When the customer closes technical sessions or queries they should feel confident about knowing our products and services. In short, they should be equipped with the tools to be successful. Responsibilities :
Your customers are developers here who are integrating Fintech primitives APIs, you make an impact by providing implementation, integration and operational guidance. You independently dive into the problem with the eye to both immediate resolution and follow-up through changes and automations.
This enables our customers to develop an awesome product!
Diagnose and troubleshoot concerns
- Often customers may not know where the issue lies - so ask simple, accurate and complete data inputs to understand the problem and get started with root cause analysis and resolution.
- Time is of the essence - by providing timely response and resolution within the SLA, you induce confidence and path to great relationship building with your customers.
- Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams (delivery, product, operations, engineering, related 3rd parties, customer) and look for ways to improve the velocity of issue resolution.
- Handle interruptions \ technical upgrades via upfront communication, keeping customers up to date at all times until resolution.
Help customers implement product
- Be updated! - by continuously improving your technical and operational understanding of the product, you provide the latest and greatest product implementation assistance to the customers.
- Enable smooth integration of the product into customer’s business by resolving technical or operational queries at any stage of implementation.
- Enable faster onboarding and go live by guiding them at every step of the implementation.
Represent customer issues
- Understand areas of product and service improvement during collaboration with internal teams and external customers.
- Correlate technical and operational issues across product verticals as well as customer accounts.
- Act as a customer advocate and drive enhancements and feature requests with internal teams on products and services.
- Utilize feedback to improve customer experience and debugging strategies.
Required Skills and Experience -
Must have skills -
- 7 to 10 years of experience as a Customer Success Engineer.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong will to provide customer services according to agreed SLA’s.
- Degree in Programming or scripting language and databases.
Good to have skills -
- Exposure to mutual funds as an investor is preferable.
