PostgreSQLWe are seeking a Sr. Backend Engineer to play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems. This role is perfect for someone passionate about building high-performance applications and excited about working with cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Nest.js.
- Design and optimize databases with PostgreSQL to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Integrate third-party APIs and build scalable microservices.
- Handled Database migrations to ensure data consistency
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with backend systems in a timely manner.
- Implement security best practices to protect user data and ensure compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide code reviews to ensure high-quality software development.
- Contribute to architecture and infrastructure discussions, helping shape the future of the platform.
- Stay updated on the latest backend technologies, frameworks, and trends.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in backend development.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Nest.js.
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and database design principles.
- Experience with RESTful and GraphQL API development.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Database Migration.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of performance testing and optimization strategies.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with other backend technologies like Python, Ruby, or Go.
- Familiarity with machine learning, AI models, or chatbot development.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
