Job Title: Apple Specialist (Mac Support Expert)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Apple Specialist with in-depth knowledge of Mac systems to join our IT team. The ideal candidate must excel in troubleshooting, configuring, and supporting Mac devices and macOS environments. If you have expertise in Apple products and a passion for delivering exceptional technical support, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Apple devices, including MacBooks, iMacs, and other Apple hardware.
- Install, configure, and maintain macOS and associated software applications.
- Manage device enrollments and updates through Apple Business Manager and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions like Jamf or Mosyle.
- Resolve issues related to iCloud, Time Machine backups, and file system configurations.
- Assist in integrating Apple devices into hybrid environments, including Windows and Linux systems.
- Perform hardware diagnostics, upgrades, and replacements for Apple products.
- Educate and train users on macOS features, shortcuts, and best practices.
- Coordinate with Apple Support and vendors for hardware repairs or advanced issues.
- Maintain documentation of Apple device inventory, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in macOS troubleshooting and system administration.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Apple hardware and software.
- Knowledge of Apple ecosystem services like iCloud, Handoff, and Continuity.
- Experience with MDM tools (e.g., Jamf, Mosyle, or Kandji).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and file sharing.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Apple certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional - ACSP) are highly preferred.
Work Environment:
- Primarily focused on Apple products, but may involve collaboration with other IT systems.
- Remote and onsite support as required.

Strong coding and analytical skills are essential, along with knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or C++. Familiarity with databases and SDLC is preferred.
