Overview: We are seeking a Senior Windows Server Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows server environments. This role involves ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our Windows servers and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
• Perform regular system backups, updates, and patch management.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve system performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Windows server administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, and above).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
