As the Lead Solution Architect specializing in Telecom OSS (Operations Support Systems) and Roaming, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and overseeing the architecture of our telecommunications systems, particularly focusing on OSS and Roaming functionalities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Architectural Design: Lead the design and development of Customer Centric Telecom OSS and Roaming solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry best practices, and technological advancements.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to a team of architects and engineers, guiding them in the implementation of robust and scalable solutions. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, software development, and operations to develop comprehensive solutions that meet the needs of our telecom infrastructure, with a specific focus on OSS and Roaming functionalities.
- Requirements Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs. Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Vendor Evaluation and Management: Evaluate third-party vendors and solutions, making recommendations based on technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with business objectives. Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to contractual agreements and service level agreements.
- Quality Assurance: Define and implement quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of Telecom OSS and Roaming solutions. Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify and address any potential issues or vulnerabilities.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with architectural decisions and implementation strategies. Develop contingency plans and escalation procedures to address any issues that may arise during the development and deployment of solutions.
- Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation including architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides. Provide training and support to internal teams and stakeholders to ensure proper understanding and utilization of Telecom OSS and Roaming solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Telecom OSS and Roaming. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and optimization, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in solution architecture, with a focus on Telecom OSS and Roaming systems.
- In-depth knowledge of telecom protocols, standards, and technologies such as GSM, CDMA, LTE, SS7, Diameter, SIP, etc.
- Proficiency in OSS/BSS systems, including but not limited to inventory management, network provisioning and improvememnt, service activation, billing, and mediation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture is highly desirable.

AEM Forms Developer would need to have at least 3 years of experience.
