Job Title : Senior Java Developer (Telecom Domain)

Experience : 6 to 10 Years

Location : Nagpur, Maharashtra

Job Summary :

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in the Telecom domain to design and develop enterprise messaging applications.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java, Kannel SMS Gateway, SMPP protocol, and telecom messaging platforms, along with experience building scalable REST APIs and microservices.

Mandatory Skills :

Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, Microservices, Kannel SMS Gateway, SMPP Protocol, Telecom Messaging Platforms, SMSC Integration, SQL, Linux, Git, CI/CD, Telecom Domain Experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
• Develop and integrate SMS solutions using Kannel SMS Gateway and SMPP.
• Build REST APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot.
• Integrate with SMSCs and telecom messaging platforms.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills :

• 6 to 10 years of Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA.
• Hands-on experience with Kannel SMS Gateway and SMPP protocol.
• Experience with Telecom SMSCs and messaging platforms.
• REST APIs, Microservices, SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle).
• Linux/Unix, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

• Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Docker & Kubernetes.
• AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Redis and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.

Mandatory Requirement :

Candidates must have prior Telecom industry experience with hands-on working knowledge of SMPP, SMSC, and Kannel SMS Gateway. Profiles without Telecom messaging experience will not be considered.
