Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications
• Work with outside data sources and APIs

Requirements:

• Basic understanding data migration, transformation, and scripting.

Requirements:

• Hands-on working knowledge and experience is required in:
• Extensive experience working on C#, . net and. net core frameworks
• Extensive experience working on React, Javascript and Typescript
• Relational Databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc. )
• NoSQL Databases (Mongo, Cloud Spanner, etc. )
• Agile Methodologies (Scrum, TDD, BDD, etc. )
• Experience working with distributed teams across regions and time zones
• Strong organisational skills
• Display detailed, critical, quality-oriented, skeptical thinking about the product
• Experience with several of the following tools/technologies is desirable: GIT, Jira, Jenkins, SharePoint, Visual Studio Code.
• Microservices Architecture, Domain Driver Design, Test Driven Development is a bonus
• Design Patterns and implementing the Design Patterns
• Development of Complex Application and System Architectures
• Data Structures and Algorithms using Typescript, C# and. NET
• Experience working in Google Cloud will be a big bonus as all our systems are in the Cloud 7
• Knowledge of REST and gRPC API's is a bonus
• Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus:
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Tools like GitHub, Git, etc.
• Containerisation Technologies (Docker)

What you need to have:

Mandatory Skills:
6+ years complete SDLC experience.
C#.Net MVC/ Core.
Web Services / WCF Service /WebAPI
SQL (MSSQL)
Version Control
JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, JSON

Preferred Skills:
.Net Core, Entity Framework, Azure Events, Azure, Angular, HTML, CSS

Optional Skills:

You will make an ideal candidate if you have: 

• Overall 6+  years of software development experience in building web-based and highly scalable applications 

• Excellent understanding of core computer science concepts like algorithms, data structure, system design, OOP, etc. 

• Deep knowledge and development expertise in Core Java and SpringBoot 

• Experience in using dockers and Linux.

• Hands-on coding experience in developing web applications with REST APIs

• Good understanding/exposure to Kafka and Elastic.(must have)

• Log stash understanding is add-on

• Worked in a CI/CD environment with Jenkins and handled deployments by yourself 

• Experience working in an agile team with software engineering practices like automated testing, test-driven-development, continuous integration, etc is a big plus. 

• Our health products’ engineering team that works on initiatives fuelling the growth of our recent health retail insurance products
• Collaboration across cross-functional stakeholders to ensure delivery timelines are met
• Implementing product engineering best practices, and evangelizing them within the org
• Your Experience Across The Years in the Roles You’ve Played -
• 6 years of technology experience (at least 2 years in direct engineering management)
• Managing a 5-15 member engineering team in an agile product org
• Track record of collaborative working with multiple stakeholders
• Planning and analysis with effective communication skills
