Javascript Lead Engineer

Bookeventz is looking for a rock star coder to work closely with the founders to build on our core platform and mobile applications. A Techie who has an Expert understanding of Server Logics, REST APIs and core web technologies.

Should have a great understanding of MEAN/MERN Stack.

Our Tech Stack:

PHP, MySql, CodeIgniter, React.js, Node.js, ExpressJS, React Native, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, REST API, AWS Server Management (RDS, Lambda, API Gateway), Ubuntu, Git, CI/CD Good To have: Python, Payment Gateway.

Few Challenges we are working on right now:

- Working on various optimization to improve page speed.

- Improving Server Response & Load balancing.

- Server-side development on various projects.

- Customized CRM to increase leads handled per salesperson to double a day.

- Create a platform for users to create their custom event website.

Job Objectives:

- Integration of user- facing elements developed by front- end developers with server- side logic

- Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale. Support diverse clients from high- powered desktop computers to small mobile devices

- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability

- Implementation of security and data protection

- Collaborate with senior management, operations & business team

- Building Rest APIs and maintain Database optimizations

Looking For:

- Great understanding of Node, react, Express, Socket.io, MVVM framework

- Worked on e- commerce website, server handling and deployments scripts

- The one who has worked on customer facing product for 2 years

- Strong knowledge of MEAN stack (Min 3 yrs professional working experience) with basic understanding of LAMP.

- Experience designing scalable, fault tolerant systems and databases.

Develop and maintain application documentation and coding standards that are clear, accurate and detailed. Troubleshoot .NET issues and provide debugging support as needed. Maintain communication with key players on development process and communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences. Provide mentorship and support to other employees

·       Hands on Experience on HTML, jQuery, JavaScript, MongoDB, NoSQL, Azure/Google Cloud Components

·       HTML: Elements and attributes, HTML Structures

·       jQuery: Functions and events, class based, ID based and attributes-based events, effects, JSON serialization and deserialization, JSON data preparation, AJAX Calls, async functions‍

·       JavaScript: For Loops, Filters, JSON Data Mapping

·       Expert on C# (.Net Core & Asp.NET MVC) and MongoDB

1. Design and implementation of the overall web architecture.
2. Design and deployment of database.
3. Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability.
4. Design and construction of our REST API
5. Integrating our front-end UI with the constructed API
6. Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment.
7. Work remotely with our global clients and teams across the US

What you should have - 

1. Should have 5+ years of experience expertise in developing applications using any of the frameworks and programming languages
2. 5-8 years’ experience Fluent in CSS (Foundation or Bootstrap), JavaScript and HTML, with an understanding of CSS, React.JS
3. Experience working with server technologies Node.js
4. Experience in API design and development.
5. Understanding of SQL / NoSQL databases MongoDB.
6. Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms.
7. Great organizational and time-management skills.
8. Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Description :

• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Experience building complex web application.
• Hands on experience with programming stacks like MEAN, MERN, LAMP
• Participate in software/product development from ideation to deployment and beyond.
• Should have good knowledge on build tools like Maven, NPM, NODEJS.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers; awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
• Should have a good understanding of database concepts.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, VSTS)
• Working knowledge of Agile/SCRUM development methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Working on Cloud[AWS/Azure] based environment is a huge plus
• Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures.
