Role Overview: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant based in India to support US-based accounting and financial reporting. This role will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and US GAAP financial reporting within NetSuite. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and improving accounting processes in a fast-paced, scaling environment. 

 

This is a high-ownership role requiring strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with US stakeholders across time zones.

Role Responsibilities: 


US GAAP Accounting & Close 

  • Own and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for US entities 
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, amortizations, and reconciliations 
  • Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP 
  • Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules 
  • Support NetSuite enhancements, integrations, and process automation
