Role Objective :-
Support day-to-day Treasury operations to ensure accurate, timely cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, payment governance, and treasury accounting. Partner with Group Finance, Business Units, and Banks to execute processes that safeguard cash, optimize liquidity, and maintain strong control compliance.
Experience:
3-8 years in Corporate Treasury / Banking operations / Finance
Knowledge of current regulations including IFRS 9, UK GAAP and Companies Acts.
Excellent knowledge of SAP & payment platforms; Cash pooling; FX concepts
Strong financial, analytical, communication and project management skills
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work with the Business and execute the following responsibilities:
- Prepare daily cash position; reconcile prior day balances; track cash movements and variances
- Review of the FX Valuation Analysis
- Review of the interest calculation in IT2
- Update short term liquidity forecast; validate assumptions with BU Finance
- Compile payment runs; perform maker checks; ensure dual approvals per policy; monitor cut off adherence
- Ensure compliance with IFRS 9 and other relevant accounting standards in all treasury transactions, including recognition, measurement, and disclosure of financial instruments.
- Support accounting and reporting for PPN, RCF, swaps, hedges, and other derivative instruments, ensuring accurate valuation, documentation, and compliance with hedge accounting policies
- Maintain payment mandates, signatory lists and bank account master data with strict change control
- Coordinate bank fee analysis; escalate exceptions; assist in KYC/mandate amendments
- Support intercompany cash pooling sweeps; track notional/physical pool mechanics
- Capture simple FX deals/rollovers under guidance; record settlements; prepare deal summaries
- Support intercompany funding requests and interest calculations
- Post month end entries (interest accruals, bank charges, cash pool interest); reconcile treasury GLs to bank statements and sub ledgers; resolve breaks with Bank Rec
- Operate key controls (makerchecker, access reviews, limit checks); maintain evidence packs in line with Group Standards/RACM/SOP; prepare audit support files
- Document SOPs; suggest automation (Power Query/SAP integration); contribute to MI dashboards (cash variances, forecast accuracy)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant based in India to support US-based accounting and financial reporting. This role will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and US GAAP financial reporting within NetSuite. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and improving accounting processes in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
This is a high-ownership role requiring strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with US stakeholders across time zones.

Role Responsibilities:
US GAAP Accounting & Close
- Own and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for US entities
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, amortizations, and reconciliations
- Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP
- Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Support NetSuite enhancements, integrations, and process automation
- Partner with US finance team on system improvements and reporting needs
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Assist in preparation of US financial statements and management reporting
- Support external audits and internal reviews (Big 4 or national firm exposure preferred)
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Process Building & Optimization
- Build, document, and improve accounting processes and SOPs
- Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions as the business grows
- Support process standardization across entities and functions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with FP&A, Payroll, AP/AR, and Operations teams
- Communicate clearly with US-based stakeholders across time zones
- Proactively flag risks, issues, and improvement opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong hands-on experience with US GAAP reporting
- NetSuite experience required (end-to-end accounting ownership)
- Experience supporting US-based companies or multinational organizations
- Proven experience building or improving accounting processes
- Prior experience in a startup, high-growth, or scaling environment preferred
- Audit experience (Big 4 or mid-tier) is a plus
- CPA / CA (or progress toward certification) preferred
