1. Have a point of view and can distinguish between "good" and "great" work.
2. Strong hands-on skills which should range from designing using Photoshop to coding UI mockups. 
3. Hands-on knowledge of front-end technologies: Html 5, CSS, JavaScript.
4. Hands-on knowledge on Photoshop / Illustrator / Dreamweaver / Fireworks / Flash. 
5. A design portfolio demonstrating the breadth and proven experience in product and services marketing communication, workflow and interaction design, visual design work, and a thorough understanding of a good design process is required.
6. Have the ability to work on digital marketing strategies, define workflows, write concepts and content to generate interest in Searce’s products, brands, and services.
7. Have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, and solve problems quickly.
8. Successfully overcome engineering challenges and understand the need for testing and iteration of new user experiences.
9. Have a track record in creating highly functional, user-focused, complete, and desirable experiences and designs.
10. Be able to lead teams through the design process and partner effectively within cross-functional teams.
11. Be innovative, enthusiastic, flexible, and creative.
12. Demonstrate excellent project management and scheduling skills.

 

Is Education overrated? Yes. We believe so. But there is no way to locate you otherwise. So we might look for at least a Bachelor’s degree in Design (B.Des.).

2. A design pioneer, who will invent user interfaces that combine speech, touch, and other modalities to drive intuitive interactions on smartphones, tablets, and other connected consumer devices.
3. The ability to combine strategy with design thinking to deliver an experience like our audience never had before.
4. Bring passion and dedication to his/her job and become a storyteller through exceptional and engaging designs. 

BFA or similar degree in design domain. Responsibilities: - Design graphical user interfaces for existing and new deliverables - Help define user requirements, create wireframes and the visual design of the UI for web-based e-commerce products - Present user interface concepts and design approaches clearly and convincingly. - Creating user interface implementation specs for the teams in the form of a UI Specification - Coordinating interface solutions with other teams for specific assignments - Act as a resource for implementation troubleshooting, etc. - Work with the web development and engineering teams to meet technical requirements for projects.
