
Responsibilities & Qualification:
· Should have managed a regional or pan-India team in credit card collections.
· Strong people management skills and ability to motivate a team across multiple
locations.
· Must have strong relationships with collection agencies across the country and be
able to drive their performance.
· Ability to set targets and ensure goal orientation among the team members.
· Must have a basic understanding of underwriting policies that work and don’t work
for unsecured lending.
· Sound knowledge of how to read credit bureau reports / data and credit bureau
processes. Must be able to suggest ways to leverage credit bureau data for
improving underwriting and collections.
· Familiarity with collection systems for collection of dues from delinquent borrowers.
Experience in implementing a collection system would be preferable.
· Should be data driven and comfortable with numbers; should be comfortable with typical
credit risk portfolio reports.
· Familiarity with incentive plans for collectors/collection agencies including their
pitfalls.
·Should be ethical and act with integrity to ensure there is no reputational risk to
the organization.
· Must have sound knowledge about all rules and regulation (particularly those
relating to credit card collections) and ensure compliance with these across
the risk organization.

Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will oversee the complete accounting cycle including financial reporting, statutory compliance, vendor and customer accounts, taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations, attention to detail, and experience in project-based accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
