Job Title: Flutter Mobile App Developer

Department: Engineering

Summary:

We are looking for a talented Flutter Mobile App Developer to join our team. The ideal

candidate will have a strong understanding of Flutter and Dart, as well as experience

developing mobile apps for Android and iOS. The successful candidate will be

responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality mobile apps

that meet the needs of our users.

Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, test, and deploy mobile apps using Flutter and Dart

● Work with product managers and designers to gather requirements and translate

them into technical specifications

● Work with other engineers to build and maintain our mobile app codebase

● Stay up-to-date on the latest Flutter and Dart developments

● Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality

● Mentor and train junior engineers

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

● 4+ years of experience developing mobile apps using Flutter and Dart

● 1+ years of experience with commonly used 3rd party libraries and services,

push notifications and app analytics

● Experience with building video streaming and messaging apps is a huge plus

● Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. Android programming works closely with other app development and technical teams.

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

• Absolutely required to be proficient in English (both speaking and writing).
  BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven software development experience and Android skills development
• Proven working experience in Android app development and
• Have published at least one original Android app
• Experience with Android SDK
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Writing clean and efficient codes for Android applications
• Monitoring the performance of live apps and work on optimizing them at the code level
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance
• Performing unit and instrumentation tests on code
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features
• Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols

Key Requirements:

• You have experience in publishing an application on the Google Play store
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Familiarity with various testing tools
• You are a problem solver with good analytical skills

Key Responsibilities

•  Build, iterate, and enhance mobile applications on Android.

•  Continue to evaluate innovative approaches on Android and present new ideas to improve our offering on Android and other mobile platforms.

•  Ensures that code developed is easy to test, easy to understand, extensible and meets the quality guidelines of the business unit.

•  Partner closely with the design team to create an intuitively easy to use application for our users.

•  Bring new features in the course taking experience to the Android platform.

•  Optimize the existing code for ease of use and performance and improve quality.

•  Continue to improve the development process. Evaluate and implement new tools as needed.

•  Lead and Contribute to a team culture that values quality while fostering initiatives and innovation.

• Knowledge of the common application/web security and OWASP vulnerabilities.

•  Knowledge of the encryption algorithms to protect sensitive information.

• Knowledge of PII, PCI, HIPPA, and GDPR compliance and how to implement.

• Understanding of security breaches of data-in-transit and data-at-rest and knowledge in implementation for both.

• Knowledge/Aware of finding the vulnerabilities of the third-party components/libraries used in the application and remediating vulnerabilities.

• Integrate with multiple devices & printers

Required skillset:

 Java, Android SDK, Rest API, SQLLite, Json, Enterprise mobility management (EMM) and EMV, POS application in Android(preferably version 4.4 Kitkat and API level 19 and above) 

Good to have:

 Play store deployment, push notifications, Web services, Android Location Services, Google Maps API, GIT

 Desired Competencies:

 Problem Solving Approach, Analytically strong, Time Management skills, Passionate to learn new technologies and working in an agile environment.

• 4+ years of mobile software development (iOS & Android).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Deep understanding and proficiency in building mobile apps from scratch using at least one mobile language (Swift, Java, Objective-C, etc.). Experience with multiple platforms is preferred.
• Desire and ability to expand expertise into additional mobile languages.
• Expertise in designing testable software and building large scale, complex applications.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about writing clean, well organized, and production-ready code.
• A portfolio of Apps or SDKs already built and in the App Store and Google Play.
• Desire to build a larger in-house team and manage a group of developers over time.
• Some management experience preferred.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical design and implementation of new products and enhancements. They will work in all phases of the development cycle: concept to implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 2+ years' experience in related area
• Experience with iOS and Android platforms

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Build and technically lead Android apps in terms of scale, performance, security, and design
• Actively participate in feature design
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Take ownership of the features right from estimating timelines to Production release
• Carry out code reviews and mentor junior engineers
• Instill best practices from following MVP/MVVM patterns to using required Java design patterns within the application
• Understand the latest Android features and practices and lead the efforts towards its adoption within the team and across all mobile pods
• Follow SOPs of Agile methodologies & Sprint deliverables and drive the same within the team

Requisites / Prerequisites:

• Android Work Experience of between 3 to 5 years.
• BE/B.Tech from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutions
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming, data structures and design patterns
• Experience in developing B2C / B2B mobile applications
• Experience in memory management and in designing high-performance applications
• Strong Java, Design Patterns and OOPS knowledge and hands-on experience
• Experience in shipping applications through the Google play store
• Experienced in Android Material Design
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Experience in working with JUnits and other Unit Testing framework is a plus
• Experience in OpenGL and animations is a plus
