Roles and Responsibilities:
● Develop highly usable UIs using Flutter, HTML, CSS, Javascript
● Collaborate with the UX team to understand end-user requirements and build solutions
● Write well-abstracted, reusable, highly performant code for UI components
● Experiment with new relevant technologies and tools

Desired Skill Set:
● Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or science
● Minimum 2 years of experience in building and shipping innovative, large scale products
● Must have experience in building high quality Android apps
● Must have experience in building Flutter applications

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android and iOS platform on
ReactNative
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship
new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize
development efficiency.


REQUIREMENTS
• Knowledge of developing trends and emerging standards in mobile apps and
mobile payments
• Excellent technical knowledge of React Native
• Pro with Android and iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and how to connect Android applications to
back-end services
• You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high-quality code
• Contribute to the design, architecture, and development of apps that are elegant,
efficient, secure, highly available, and maintainable
• Highly motivated and maintain a positive, “can-do” attitude in an uncertain
environment
• Follow and help cultivate consistent development best practices

Experience in React-native, IOS Development (with Swift).
Experience in IOS SWIFT Framework.
Proven experience in React Native components in native iOS and Android.
Good understanding of Android / iOS / Web design guidelines, SDK and excellent JavaScript skills. Knowledge of React and the Java script ecosystem.
Exposure to other hybrid mobile platforms like IONIC,Sencha, HTML5, PhoneGap, jQuery Mobile etc. Familiarity with RESTful APIs development.
Expertise with code testing best practices, including unit and integration testing to ensure quality of code. Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, Github.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge: IOS Development (Swift), React Native.

5+ years of technical web & mobile platforms / product development experience.

About the Role:
As one of our first mobile engineers in Bangalore, this is a great opportunity to make a significant impact in designing and building our new KeepTruckin Fleet Manager iOS app and as well as grow by working directly with experienced technology professionals with backgrounds from Silicon Valley companies like Google, Twitter, Facebook and Uber (to name a few). Your expertise will be contributed to defining our architecture for the new app and the underlying data sharing framework with our existing Driver app based on personas. We are looking for candidates who have a familiarity with Objective-C and Swift, and a good understanding of system architectures (mvc, mvvm, redux) and a forward thinking mindset aimed at high readability (declarative) code, as well as identifying problems or bottlenecks before they become issues.

Qualifications:

• Working with Product, Design and Back end teams to own end to end features including designing the architecture, data storage, API integrations and the user interface.
• Building a payment suite for Public transportation like no one else - powering Tap to pay cards, Tap to pay using Android phones, Offline Dynamic QR codes, other digital payment options such as UPI, Wallets, Common Mobility cards.
• Working with web sockets, advanced caching techniques to power an ultra fast and slick UX.
• Multilingual and Multi modal app integrating buses, metro, cabs, cycles, bikes.
