About The Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python (FastAPI), React.js, and AWS Serverless architecture to lead and contribute to the design and development of scalable, modern web applications. The ideal candidate will bring both technical depth and leadership skills, mentoring a small team of developers while remaining actively involved in coding, architectural decisions, and deployment.

You will play a key role in building and optimizing cloud-native, serverless applications using AWS services, integrating front-end and back-end components, and ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Drive architectural and design decisions aligned with scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews, guide junior developers, and foster a collaborative engineering culture.

Backend Development

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Develop and deploy serverless microservices on AWS Lambda using AWS SAM.
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and optimize SQL queries.
• Manage asynchronous task queues with Celery and Redis/SQS.

Frontend Development

• Build and maintain responsive, scalable front-end applications using React.js.
• Implement reusable components using Redux, Hooks, and TypeScript.
• Integrate APIs and optimize front-end performance, accessibility, and security.

AWS Cloud & DevOps

• Architect and deploy applications using AWS SAM, Lambda, Glue, Cognito, AppSync, and Amplify.
• Good-to-have) Experience designing and consuming GraphQL APIs via AWS AppSync.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments via Amplify, CodePipeline, or equivalent.
• Ensure proper authentication, authorization, and identity management with Cognito.
• Use Gitlabs/Devops, Docker and AWS ECS/EKS for containerized deployments where required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL (AppSync) and data integrations.
• Exposure to container orchestration (ECS/EKS).
• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Developer or Architect Associate) is a plus.

Opportunity Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with experience building Salesforce AppExchange apps to lead the development of Salesforce connectors for our marketing technology products.

What would you do?

·      Take a lead role with design and implementation of Salesforce connectors for our marketing platforms.

·      Collaborate with stakeholders in establishing application requirements, determining features, creating customer-friendly solutions, and determining support needs and performance requirements. 

·      Plan, design, develop, test, and deploy software to satisfy these requirements. 

·      Work according to the agile programming application development methodology adhered to including test-first, iterative development, and continuous re-prioritization.  

·      Support the maintenance of our hosted technology solutions.

·      Experience working with databases and/or CRM systems.

This role is physically based out of Mauritius and will require you to relocate to Mauritius. Relocation expenses like air tickets/work visa/permit/shared accomodation/medical insurance/daily travel costs will be borne by the company

The role of a senior java developer is to ensure high quality software development and delivery to the end client.

As senior software developer, you shall be the technical SME on the project and ensure that the team abide by the quality standard set on the project.

On the Java Expertise Center, you shall be contributing to the knowledge building committee where you will be coaching juniors and demy students

Key Skills:

Lantern Pharma is looking for talented and highly motivated R Shiny based front end web application developers to visualize the data analyzed / reports generated using bioinformatics pipelines. Leveraging your background and applying software engineering principles, to develop applications and tools in support of data visualization and reporting using R / R Shiny. You will be involved in generating complex graphs used for statistical analysis and interpretation using interactive libraries such as Plotly. In addition to development of new code, you will support and maintain standard R programs, which will comprise a library of code to be used for future development. This is a 6 months contract position (40 hrs / week) with possibilities of full time employment based on performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop interactive web applications using R / R Shiny to visualize ML outputs, multi-omics data and reports generated by bioinformatics pipelines
• Use the open-source or proprietary R libraries to build useful applications and packages
